The location turned out to be horrible. My room was on the 2nd floor and the street traffic was extremely noisy. Vehicles were racing their engines so it sounded like they were street racing well past 1am. And then the noises started again early Sunday morning so I finally got up at 6 am. There were no coffee cups in my room and the tray with the coffee maker was too high for me to reach anyway. The bed was as so close to the window side you had to crawl onto the bed to grab the curtain to close it; and then crawl back to the open area. I don’t know how any one can make that bed. And why is there only valet parking or you have to find street parking on our own? Won’t stay here again or suggest it to anyone.

Great hotel. Clean and Staff was nice. My valet was good I think his name was Thai. Will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful experience here! The hotel was very clean and well maintained, but the highlight of my stay was definitely the valet service. Our valet Thai was incredibly friendly, professional, and quick to help every time I came and went. He really made me feel welcomed and took great care of my vehicle, always bringing it to me in a timely manner. Excellent service all around!

I had a confirmed reservation that appeared correctly in my Marriott app. After a long day of travel, I arrived at the hotel expecting to check in without issue. Instead, I was met by a front desk associate who was slow, dismissive, and unfriendly. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, I was finally informed that despite my confirmed reservation, the hotel did not have a room for me. The explanation given was that they had "a new system" and that no room was showing. Whatever internal issue occurred was entirely a Marriott problem—not mine—and I should never have been left to bear the consequences. I even asked for him to reach out to a manager to help resolve and he refused. What happened next was even more unacceptable. Rather than taking ownership of the situation, the associate suggested several hotels that were completely inappropriate. Some were hotels I would never choose to stay in, and others were located all the way across town. At no point did he ask whether I had transportation, offer to arrange transportation, reimburse transportation costs, or make any effort to ensure I could safely reach another hotel. Instead, he actually suggested that I walk approximately 15 minutes to another hotel. I was alone. I am a woman. It was dark. I was in an unfamiliar city. I did not have a car. The fact that a Marriott employee thought it was acceptable to suggest that I walk alone at night through an unfamiliar area demonstrates an alarming lack of concern for guest safety. That recommendation was not merely inconvenient—it was irresponsible and frankly shocking. Guest safety should be a fundamental priority, and at no point did anyone appear to consider mine. To make matters worse, I was ultimately the one who found an acceptable hotel myself. I had to direct the front desk associate to call them to secure a room. Even after that, I still had to make the walk alone in the dark because no transportation was offered. This entire experience was stressful, frightening, humiliating, and completely avoidable. Instead of arriving at my destination and getting the rest I expected after a long travel day, I spent my evening trying to solve a problem that Marriott created while feeling unsafe and unsupported. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, including numerous Marriott properties, and I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I have never felt so disregarded, so uncared for, or so unsafe as a guest.

Had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean and well kept. Caleb and Alexis that handled the valet were very professional and attentive. The hotel staff was also very friendly which made the stay very enjoyable.

I would not recommend this hotel, despite its good location. 1) The hotel is in a great location, but has terrible sound proofing. I dont know why no one has mufflers on their cars in Wichita, but the drivers are incredibly noisy and the sound proofing is bad because I would often have trouble falling asleep hearing the stream of traffic and trains. Very high noise level. 2) The guys at the valet were exceptional. David, Darren (?), Caleb - all very professional, friendly and clearly doing their best. HOWEVER! It is a terrible set-up. This hotel needs to completely re-think its parking system. The only option is to do valet because they have like 7 parking spots... and the valet costs 24 USD PER NIGHT!! And good luck if you're trying to collect your car between 7 and 9 am. We waited almost AN HOUR for our car despite also requesting it through their service 15 minutes in advance of when we had to leave. I was late to a business meeting, the whole reason I came to Wichita. The valet guys were constantly running back and forth to wherever the garage is, I felt bad for them. Darren (?) tried to make up for it by taking the car out pre-emptively on one of the days I was there so I wouldn't be late again, and I sincerely appreciated that, but why on earth do the valet guys have to work against the system in place???? The system should support the staff not actively work against them and make the valet workers run a marathon every day. To be 100% clear the staff are great, but it's an absolutely awful and frustrating set-up. Unacceptable parking system. Management needs to take a serious look at improving THE SYSTEM AND PRICE. The app is also confusing. Can't it just be billed to the room? Why on earth do I have to go through a different system? Bad, bad, bad valet system. 3) there is no housekeeping. Not even every other or every 3rd night. What is even the advantage of staying here vs an Airbnb? One of the perks of staying at a higher-end hotel is having the bed made and fresh when you come in. Feels trashy that theyve completely eliminated this service. They don't tell you this at check-in either so I was left disappointed. 4) One of the elevators was broken for 3/4 nights I was here. This hotel opened not even 6 months ago, how is it possible that they're having mechanical issues already? So often you would get to the elevator and have to wait 5+ minutes around in the lobby because there is only 1 small elevator to service the 12 floors of the hotel. 5) the food quality at the restaurant for dinner is terrible. I got the Mac and cheese and it was incredibly bland and soupy, almost like just macaroni noodles in warm milk. No flavour. Kraft Dinner is better. I couldnt finish it. I also got a salad, and it was incredibly salty and My colleague also got the salad and didnt even finish hers. Was there any thought put into these menu items? In conclusion, I give this place 2* because the beds were really comfortable and the staff were friendl

Darian and David at the Valet counter were amazing. We've stayed at AC before and love the hotel too. Comfortable rooms, good cocktails, and a European style breakfast.

Steve and the valet team did an amazing job managing a large group in a very difficult logical situation. Grateful for his hard work and the entire team who worked really hard to make our experience seamless.

Caleb and David with the valet were amazing. They had an influx of customers and cars were backed up but they hustled to provide the best possible service. I appreciated their friendly conversation and they even remembered my name every time I came to get my car.
