Homewood Suites by Hilton Wichita Falls

Our stay was well greeted with staff and clean room. Floor was quiet without too many early risers. Morning coffee and breakfast was very good with multiple selections. Location was easy to navigate area entrance and exit property.

Stayed here for a night. Easy to get to, not too far off the highway. Check in was seamless and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was a great texas size, the kitchen had everything one would need. Overall it was clean and most importantly the bed was comfortable. Price was right as well. Would stay here again.

Nice, clean--nice breakfast Good value

This place is OK, but needs improvement. I have come to expect certain standards from this brand, and only have other identical branded properties to compare with. There are two things that don’t meet standards here. First, the business center has a printer in it; no computer, just a printer. And, next, the shower looked like a factory farm for mold and bacteria; it hasn’t been scrubbed with bleach or scouring powder since the end of the civil war, and it’s visually obvious. Upon checking in, the place looks nice, and the desk agent quite accommodating. The common areas looked very good, and all furniture and fixtures in adequate repair. The parking situation is confusing in that there are 3 Hilton brands on this slice of dirt, but they don’t share parking spaces in the front. From what I can tell behind the buildings they don’t care. The signage in the front of these building(s) is clear as mud. Back to the shower….this was pretty bad. The drip rail on the door was covered with grotesque stuff I won’t tolerate in my own home. It badly needs to be cleaned with a brush. But, looking around me there’s black mold in the grout up and down the walls. Add to that they have used a white, acrylic floor which makes sure the guest can see the floor has a ring of brown scum around the edge, again, that has not been scrubbed, or sanitized in many guests. I am the hater of having to baby-sit expensive electronics, and those in-room safes many Hilton properties are installing aren’t available here. I did bring a laptop, but when I find only a printer in the business center, I’d like to know what kind of business can be supported without a work station. I treasure those few trips these days where I can leave the computer at home, and this place would be a deal-breaker if I didn’t have my machine. They have a nice place to work offering one each Brother printer and one each some kind of animal’s head hanging on the wall, and a caricature map of the state. When I asked why they don’t have a business center, the answer was less than acceptable. Christmas of 2022 this state got a blast of cold air much lower than we are accustomed to, and water pipes burst everywhere, including my home. Water leaked into the computer and ruined it. So, they just discontinued the computer and left the printer for TWO FULL YEARS! A desktop computer is NOT VERY EXPENSIVE, and should be replaced from the same budget that had to fix the ruined ceilings. All they have done until this point is absolutely nothing. This is the most expensive property in this city, and all of it’s functions should be working. The kitchenette area is a curious thing in wondering what can I cook with what’s here? I get one skillet, two sauce pans, a two-burner electric range top, a microwave oven, a two-slice toaster, full-size dishwasher, with half-size sink, and a food waste disposer. I finally found some paper towels under the skink, but no spray cleaner or dishwashing liquid

Great Location The staff was above and beyond friendly! Hotel is in a safe part of town and the area around is very nice. The room and overall hotel is in good shape. Our room had alot of dust in the room, the lights, mirror and closets.
