Premier Inn Whitley Bay

Hotel in an excellent position by the seafront. Reception staff very helpful. Room spacious and clean as was ablutions. A couple of peaceful and comfortable nights. Third time at this hotel & look forward to returning.

We went twice to our beloved Whitley Bay in the space of 3 weeks with my family and the first thing we always have is an absolutely wonderful welcome from Adele and her team. Adele especially is such a warm kind soul who will go the extra mile and always has a smile . The place is spotless and has everything you need for a fab stay. We will be back as soon as we can .

Having prebooked the breakfast ahead, I had then had to inform them of additional eaters the waitress wrote down my change and stated that she would ensure an applicable table would be available on the day etc. On the day in question, I was informed that my previous booking had not been updated accordingly I asked if we could sit over there?, but was told no. As that table was booked, this was echoed again for another table, but again was told no. The mangeress at the time should no empathy and appeared bored as she rolled her eyes. There was also an issue with their Internet, so. It was cash only Which meant a walk some distance away as nearby cash points were also off. During breakfast, workmen carried out work which required wood to be cut, the sawdust was floating into the rest aurant as they kept the doors open whilst they worked. Some people were coughing because of this and no doubt would have coated food/cups nearby. Again the manager should no empathy and appeared to be totally oblivious to what was going on I have stayed and dined here previously with no issues and the manager at the tine(s) was so nice and customer focused it was a pleasure to goto this venue. I can only hazard a guess that this manager was new and unexpected and perhaps should see alternative career.

Sea front location next to the Spanish City and the golden beaches of this part of the World. Took a little while to be seen at reception but after that the usual reliable Premier Inn experience. Check in can be from 11am if you pay £15 extra. Located next door to a Beefeater where breakfast can be taken. Handy parking at £3 a day next to the hotel.

Perfect position on the sea front, staff all friendly and professional, would definitely stay again if and when in the area.

Room clean and bed comfortable. Staff on arrival were very nice and attentive but the last nite the late nite staff member seemed to wanna go on the Internet and seemed argumentive.
