Leave the worries of the world behind and enjoy a warm and welcoming stay with Toby and Lynn and their amazing staff. Here we are all family. Ours was a family reunion to celebrate my 70th birthday. Family came from Canada, the United States, and Europe. We all loved our stay here. The activities were varied and fun and I treated myself to 2 exceptional massages. This is our second visit here and are already planning a return visit.

The staff and accommodations are great. The food is awesome. The scenery is breathtaking. The adventures on and off the sight itself are really second to none and let's not forget the Aurora Borealis. It came out several times offering us a glimpse of the beauty of nature. Put this place on your bucket list and make the trip to the Canadian Yukon for an adventure of a lifetime. You will not be disappointed.

As we look back on our trip we smile, feeling so blessed and grateful that our dream trip was so amazing! Your friendly, caring, staff, first-class accommodations, delicious meals and fun-filled excursions helped make our trip such a huge success. The 16 other guests were lighthearted and friendly souls making our stay so memorable. Seeing the northern lights twice in our 4-night stay was fantastic too! Thank you Toby,Lynn and all of your amazing staff for making our “bucket list” trip one that we will never forget!

This resort is over the top wonderful! The cabins are modern, clean and comfortable. The service is so good, and the food is off the charts good. Saw the lights twice in our time here and had really fun touring experiences. Toby and Lynn have created a must do experience.

We just returned home and the fantastic trip is still running through our heads! We started with 2 nights of northern lights at base camp. Then we had a fantastic tour of the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. We saw elk, wood bison, white-tailed deer, mountain goat, thin-horned sheep, musk ox and my favorite a lynx! We are biologists so this was such a treat. At the resort, we were spoiled with 2 even more amazing nights of northern lights. We had gourmet food, new friends and hospitality!

Wow wow wow!! What an incredible way to celebrate our 30th anniversary! We booked a 3-night stay at this resort and it did not disappoint. Tobi, Lynn and their amazing staff made us feel right at home with their kindness, attention to detail and warmth. We loved Richard’s sense of humor; Patrick’s deep knowledge of Whitehorse, the resort and Yukon history; Uliya’s fantastic photography skills and James 1’s and James 2’s delicious food! From the heated floors in our glass chalet to the well-organized extracurricular activities (my favorite was the dogsledding) to the middle of the night alarms alerting us of the Northern Lights, the staff took care of everything! What an added bonus it was to experience my bucket list item of seeing the Northern Lights two out of the three nights we were there. We met some wonderful people who were also staying at the resort at the same time at us. The maximum number of guests at one time is 16 so made the experience special and intimate. We can’t wait to visit again!

The only thing the family and staff won’t do for you while you’re here is promise you’ll get to see the northern lights. Somehow they haven’t yet figured out how to control the heavens. But even if you don’t see the northern lights, they’ll make sure you have the best possible time at this resort. This small place offers personalized attention, great meals, and fun daytime activities to occupy you while you’re waiting for night to come round again (dogsledding was awesome!). You can rent heavy winter outerwear which is really helpful when the temperatures are in the negative double digits. There’s a nightly campfire while you watch the skies with someone to help you figure out how to take the best pictures, and they’ll summon you from your cabin if you’re inside when the good stuff starts happening. If you stay in one of the glass chalets you can see it all from your bed; that’s where we were when we took these pictures. The chances of seeing a fantastic night show are really good while you’re there, and we lucked out! Thank you to the forces of nature, and thank you to everyone at Northern Lights for an amazing experience!

This was such an amazing experience! Tobi and Lynn thought of every detail to make our stay memorable and everyone at the resort was incredibly friendly, especially Richard, Patrick, Uli, Dorothy and Reimi. The food was delicious and plentiful and to say that the chefs (James 1 and 2 lol) were accommodating to our preferences is an understatement. We so appreciated the personalized itinerary. Our stay was filled with the perfect balance of activities: the snowmobiling, Lumel glass blowing on the city tour, and the hot springs/nature reserve were all great excursions. It was also so nice getting to know the other guests: the experiences of freezing in the cold at 1 am, making s'mores by the bonfire, and especially seeing the gorgeous Northern lights every night of our stay were more fun shared together. We stayed in Glass Chalet #3 and highly recommend it for the beautiful views and location on the resort. Even as we rushed to get into our winter gear at the sound of the alarm signaling the lights on view, we were able to get a bit of a sneak peek right from our window. This bucket list trip to the Yukon is the adventure of a lifetime!
