Fantastic food and atmosphere. Staff really friendly and their Sunday Roasts are at a high quality. Really busy for a Sunday evening! Will be going back! Full of friendly and local people. A place for everyone. Owners are engaging and deliver great service.

Really really good. Just opposite Hartford Station with a great choice of lovely food. Nicely furnished, great meals including Sunday Roasts. Lots of parking and greatly improved in recent years. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well laid out seating wise

We had a lovely and reasonably priced meal from an extensive menu served by wonderful staff. Our waiter (one of a pair of twins) was particularly polite and efficient. The portions are generous but they provide doggy bags, for those with smaller appetites.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family, we had a mixture of starters, mains and also the roast dinners. All of the food was exceptional quality and generous portions. The fillet of beef main was cooked medium as requested and was tender and delicious, great quality meat. The beef on the roast dinner was also great quality and very tender. The fish was lovely and fresh and a large portion. All of the accompanying vegetables were fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend, looking forward to returning for Sunday lunch and also visiting on a week night to try the different menu options.

Had a really lovely family Sunday lunch today. 2 Roast Dinners and other Mains / Sides from the Menu. Lovely service, really helpfull young staff members who were so attentive. All the food we ordered arrived in good time and was delicious. We would highly recommend eating here and will be returning ! ☺️👌

Excellent service and delicious food. We called in on the off chance for some lunch today (Sunday). We were very warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, were seated in the bar area and given the menus. My Dad and I only have small appetites so I asked if it was possible to have smaller portions which was immediately met with an “of course” from our server. The meals arrived and wow! They were perfect for us and not small at all. My partner had the loaded salt and pepper chips which was a meal in itself with fresh peppers on them and also looked lovely. We were asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. All in all, a really lovely meal, well cooked and wonderful staff. It would have been my Mum’s Birthday today and though the staff didn’t know it, they really made the day for us. Thank you to you all. We will be back!

Been couple times now. The food is really nice and freshly prepared. Worth a visit. Highly recommend the food quality. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere warm and friendly. Plenty of seating and space for prams. Also plenty of choice of meals

Today was my third visit to the Coachman and it did not disappoint. Service and food were excellent and the staff so obliging. My friend and I tried the over 60's menu which also included scone and coffee. There is a wide choice of reasonably priced meals. Amazing. Will be returning

Fabulous atmosphere. Love the decor and the atmosphere with the current management. The food was amazing. Went for lunch and ended up staying and catching up for hours, we felt so welcome. Beef Wellington is to die for! Definitely returning for the Sushi evenings!
