Quality Inn & Suites

I'm going to cut to the chase... this is an old hotel. It is worn, tired and in need of a massive facelift. The musty air sets the ambiance that this hotel was probably much better in its younger days. At the end of the day, though, it is not a bad value. The rooms are affordable and have been updated. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. And it was a decent night's sleep. The free breakfast was... free. Not much here, the only hot selection was waffles. Otherwise, a basic selection of cold cereals, bagels and muffins. A few juices. Coffee that belongs at a high school football game. The pool was closed. The weather was crappy anyway, but I was nearby so I checked it out. They were doing maintenance on it. It looks like the maintenance was overdue. So if you're going to be spending time here, you might want to upgrade your stay elsewhere. If you need a good night's sleep and don't have much expectation beyond that, this meets that standard. And honestly, I'd rather have the comfortable bed than all the bells and whistles that I don't use most of the time anyway. Old bones, comfortable sleep, good value. May not be my first choice when I return, but certainly it is a viable option.

It was very "o.k." - Staff was great, and I do like the location.

The property is run down! The whole place smells like smoke. People sitting out in the car that I stood there one day had to change to another hotel for the rest of the week. Not safe and very dirty

Stay Away First, I didn't take much stick e in reviews typically. I mostly read the middle of the road reviews and go from there. The young lady who checked us in was nothing but nice and did switch our room. This has nothing to do with her. This is about the hotel. I was disgusted to stay here. I have stayed at multiple hotels and have never had this issue. It was dirty, run down and extremely sketchy. Our first room with the king size bed had god knows what under the mattress. We were given a new room, but were still charged the king size room price. It was not as dirty and at least there was nothing under our mattress. I didn't shower because I was afraid to touch anything. My husband took multiple pictures...I question whether the toilet and floor around it was even cleaned. This hotel was the site the hosted the students who were performing at PMEA at United High School. Had our daughter not been there, we would have left, but we were worried about leaving her there. This place is a disgrace to Choice Hotels and should be condemned. The hallways didn't look vacuumed. This was not normal uncleanliness. I would never recommend this hotel and now I would think twice about staying at any Quality Hotels. The app will not let me upload the picture of what was between our mattress. Do yourself a favor and never stay here.
