Blackcomb Lodge

Blackcomb Lodge is a winter wonder den! Nestled near the slopes, it's all about ski, sleep, repeat. The vibe is cozy chic, and the hot cocoa is on point. Perfect crash pad for snow junkies!

The management here was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of the lifts, and of stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The room we had was fairly quiet even though we were on the middle of a party town on a holiday weekend. The only complaint we have is about the front desk staff. We requested hand towels be brought to our room, but the person at the desk at the time seemed to only pretend to care. Unsurprisingly, we never were brought towels and when we came back late, we just made due with what we had. I'm certain the managers would have done it themselves if they'd been at the desk at the time.

I came to Whistler to attend the Obstetrics and Gynecology conference, June 18th. I tried to find the entrance to the conference parking, I ended parking at the blackcomb parking until I find my directions. I found the conference site and I came back to move the car. I found the most insulting note on the car, using F words for using the parkade when u was lost trying to find my location. Most disappointing and inappropriate . This ruined all my family and group experience in Whistler .

The location is great, with easy to access everywhere.The facilities at this hotel are outdated, and the towels provided were thin and rough. Compared to other hotels, the experience was disappointing. Although the hotel was not busy on the day of our arrival, we were still made to wait until 4 PM for check-in. In contrast, a hotel we stayed at just a week prior kindly offered us early check-in at no extra charge due to low occupancy. Upon check-out, there was no staff at the front desk. I tried calling the number provided on the sign, but no one answered, so I had to do self check out It has now been nearly 20 days, and I still haven’t received my security deposit of CAD 250. For comparison, the previous hotel only required a CAD 100 deposit, which was refunded immediately after check-out. When I called to follow up, the staff simply said the refund is processed automatically and that they were unable to check the status. Additionally, although I had fully prepaid for the stay through *******, I was still charged a resort fee of CAD 6.89 at the hotel. The explanation given was that the fee must be paid directly to the hotel, even though they acknowledged this was a duplicate charge. They told me to contact ******* myself for a refund. I emailed *******, but have yet to receive a response.

Outdated but clean room
