I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Horstman House. It was quiet, clean, and classic Whistler in its feel. Shauna at the front desk was so welcoming and attentive. I recommended to the owners that they make just a few additional items available in their kitchen, to make it perfectly easy for guests.

Very clean and quiet. Loved the location which was very close to lost Lake. Supplies in the apartment were a little sparse. Having a salt and pepper shaker would have been nice rather than the paper dispensers. Aluminum foil would’ve been handy for cooking and the storage of food.

Nicely equipped apartments, with some great views. Friendly and helpful staff. Have ‘only’ rated it 4 stars for the following reasons:
1. Tightest parking spaces I’ve ever seen. I literally had 1-2 inches leeway either side of a post and truck in the neighbouring space, and managed to scuff the side of my rental car. Am dreading the bill - no doubt it’ll cost significantly more than my stay here and the rental car cost too!
2. Only 1 lift, with no obvious stairwells. It can take 15 mins to get to the car park and back, as there were always queue for the lifts when we were there over the weekend.
3. Garbage room is inconvenient. You’re asked to take out garbage before checking out. I did so but found I couldn’t access the room from the parking lot (the gate will open for vehicles but not pedestrians). When you have garbage, recycling and compost bags, having to bring them back up to the room (and wait 10 mins for the lifts) is quite annoying!
