Agree with most other people who suggest that it needs a bit of TLC. The funniest part was we couldn't find the bed when we walked in! It is in the cupboard and is a pull down bed. The staff tried really hard and made us welcome however the hotel is incredibly noisy and it didn't really matter what side of the hotel either over the busy road or the busy pub. It was OK and served what we needed but I'm not sure I would dash back

We enjoyed our stay. We read reviews regarding the need for updating, but we did not find this a deterrent. The condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was very roomy, the fireplace worked great and easy to turn on. The property is in the middle of the village, so traffic noise is expected, but the location was close to everything, including the gondolas, a quick walk even with ski boots on. You don’t need a car when here. The pool/hot tub was perfect, they provide robes to get to the tub, which is a nice touch.

We really liked this hotel. The only reason I would not give it a 5 star rating is due to it's age. It is a bit dated, but was very clean and well equipped for our 3 day stay in the summer. Beds were comfortable and the full kitchen was a bonus.

Aside from being quite dark, the room itself was okay, location was great, walkable to most locations. Good to have a full kitchen. Those are the good things. Unfortunately, the RODENT issue and super rude staff will prevent me from every staying there again, or recommending it to anyone. At first I thought I was seeing things moving on the floor, but then to my unpleasant surprise I looked up from my book to see a mouse running around the kitchen floor! It ran under the stove, and in looking under there I saw not only 2 other dead mice, but traps everywhere - the kitchen beside the couch, near bathroom. Jenny, who was the only AMAZING staff member, quickly came up and tried to catch it, placed more traps and tried to accomodate us, but said there were no other available rooms at the time. She also was the one to remove all the mice, dead or alive, and was super sweet. The bathroom is run down and dated, and clearly with a rodent issue it's safe to say the place isn't clean at all! Top it off with a very rude front desk reception, in particular IMANE, who was incredibly rude not only in person, but hung up on me twice on the phone when I tried calling to speak to the management. She lied multiple times, would not even provide me with a receipt (Jenny was able to do so later that day, no problem) and favored certain guests over others. When I told her about the rodent issue, all she had to say was "yes, we do have a problem. They are coming down from the mountain." No recourse at all. Imane alone would be a reason to NOT stay there, for fear of having to deal with her again. She wouldn't even give me the name of the manager or a contact saying "they are on vacation for 3 weeks so no one is available for you." With the exeption of Jenny (she needs a raise and promotion), none of the reception staff ever even looked up once when we entered or exited the lodge, and were not friendly. This was all during a slower season, I can only imagine how bad it would be during prime season. Never staying there again.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Staff was absolutely wonderful with a can-do attitude. Only issue I saw was that the kitchen was kind of an afterthought. The room slept five, but there was only three plates, two small bowls, a few forks, three knives, two drinking glasses, and so forth…you get the idea! Kitchen should be restocked on occasion . It made cooking meals a challenge. Room 521. Otherwise, absolutely perfect room ! Hotel in a great location in downtown Whistler with easy access to everything.

My son and I stayed in a Loft Suite at the end of Jan 2023. We only wanted a base to ski from for 2 nights. Everything was as expected. It was nice to have a second space in the loft. The ski storage on P2 was well organized -- they loaned us a lock when we asked for it. Parking was easy. Our room was quite clean. Plenty of extra pillows and sheets for the pullout couch. What was very nice: - I wasn't expecting a private sauna in our room. Looking back, I see it listed in the room features but missed that. I don't need a sauna, but it was pretty cool to have right there. - It's quite close to the main Gondolas. Pro Tip -- be sure you know which way to walk in the morning. When we checked out the route to the gondolas in advance we ended up on a nice 10 minute tour of the Village! But a direct route to Excalibur -- past the pool -- is maybe 150m. - The fireplace is super hot Kitchen was solid and as expected. No spices or cooking oil -- nothing consumable. But plenty of dishes and cookware. Only negative was that the hot tub was closed. That's a big factor in my recovery after a day's skiing. A smaller negative was how they positioned Covid-19 as a rationale for not providing housekeeping during stays. I don't really need housekeeping for 2 nights, but in Jan 2023 most folks have moved on from the pandemic, so you'd have to be really fixated on protecting staff to tell people you can't let them clean rooms mid-stay yet. But that's where the Covid obsession ended -- hand sanitizer stations I found in the halls didn't even have empty bottles in them. We've all moved on, right? Just tell the truth if you got hooked on the economics of not offering housekeeping mid-stay. Left me wondering about character of the management. But the staff were all excellent!! Very nice, very helpful. We arrived maybe 7 am and got a parking spot quickly and easily. Small things like putting the ski locker combination on a tag with a rubber band... I liked that detail. Reduced from 5 to 4 stars because I was disappointed to not have that hot tub, and because it's just not a super-premium hotel. We found it clean, safe and great as a base for 2 dudes to ski.

Great location for Whistler village, staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking is underground at location. It is a dated Lodge and some upgrading has been done but the bathrooms are showing age the most with chips and attempts to mend the appearance. Large outdated soaker tubs with jets that don't go for a place that encourages water conservation (and electrical). The 1 bedroom suite kitchen had everything in it I could possibly want and the entire suite was very clean. Sheets, towels and pillows were very comfortable, I slept great but husband thought the bed was too soft. There is a step down to the sleeping area from the main entrance of the rooms and once the fold out couch is opened there is very little space to get around the bed. It is difficult to make the rooms dark at night, especially with summer hours so an eye mask if that concerns you. Noise from the village moves up if you like sleeping with a window open (no screens on windows) but for the weekend we turned on the fan to the AC. Yes, I would return if it was just my husband and I. We had another couple with us for a few nights of the 7 we were there and it was squishy at times.
