Good place for a short stop in Whangarei. The motel is easy to find and the staff were really nice. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool. The one bedroom unit was spacious enough for the four of us and a bonus that we didn’t all have to sleep in the same room. Kids were happy that the TV had Netflix.

Centrally located motel
Overall a pleasant stay, clean well appointed rooms, location is off main road so there is a fair it if road/vehicle noise.

Typisches Motel. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Kleiner Pool - nicht beheizt. Badezimmer recht klein, aber zweckmäßig. Durch Lage an Hauptstraße starker Straßenlärm.

Entire house in Whangarei
Well located for the town, only a few minutes drive away. Close to main road making it easy to find but a bit of road noise at busy times. The separate 3 bedroom house we stayed in worked really well for us and was a way better option than a series of motel rooms.

We stayed in one of the houses. It was great value compared to an air bnb in a similar location, the entrance was safe and not on a main road and allowed 2 families with 4 children to stay.
Only criticism would be no heat pumps but there were adequate heaters and extra bedding. Great location close to city centre. Would stay again
