Diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend! Wir sind begeistert und empfehlen es jedem sehr weiter! Es bleibt uns in bester Erinnerung!!! Die Gastgeber sind " excellent" - der Hausherr hat uns herzlich empfangen und bediente uns wie Könige. Wenn wir etwas wissen wollten gab er uns fachkundig Auskunft. Seine Frau ist eine ausgezeichnete Köchin und verzauberte uns mit ihren Frühstücks und selbstgemachtem "homemade bakery" zur Verwöhnung täglich für den Tee oder Kaffee im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll mit vielen Details zum Zimmerthema ausgestattet. Die Sicht aufs Meer ist genial - aus dem Bett heraus blickt man aufs Meer. Wir sahen den Sonnenaufgang von dort und einen wunderschönen Mond ging auch dort über dem Meer auf. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer Sackgasse - so ist es ruhig und weg vom grossen Strandtrubel. Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus von 18.00- 10.00 Uhr gratis. Wir fanden immer ein Parkplatz.

Wonderful B&B in a perfect spot in beautiful Weymouth. Ali and Bill provide a top-notch service, the breakfasts are really something to look forward to and the rooms are great. Get one with a sea-view. The road in front is a no-through road which gives a semi-pedestrianised feel to the frontage and minimises traffic. You can walk just a dozen steps from the front door to the beach. Walking distance to the selection of restaurants etc by the harbour. Ali and Bill provide great suggestions on those and on things to see in the area. Many guests return, including us!

The View on the Terrace is a charming bow-fronted Georgian terraced house, beautifully furnished, and with excellent sea views across Weymouth Bay towards the Isle of Portland. Bill and Ali are friendly and welcoming hosts. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is superb. Strongly recommended.

Tolles B&B mit wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Ali und Bill sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr herzlich und geben super Tipps wenn man Fragen hat. Und Ali zaubert das beste Frühstück welches man dann mit Aussicht aufs Meer geniessen kann. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen wenn wir wiedermal in Weymouth sind.

This is our third time going to This fantastic b/b in three months,you won't want to go anywhere else in Weymouth once you have gone there,as bill and Ali are very welcoming friendly and helpful,they make you feel very comfortable,and like you have known along time, Alis food is excellent and you have a little treat each day baked by her, we will be going back again this year definitely

This was our 2nd time at the View and absolutely loved our stay there again. Bill and Ali are a lovely couple who make you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive, nothing is too much trouble. Ali being a trained chef cooks an amazing breakfast, with different specials to tempt you each morning, all cooked using locally sourced ingredients. Not forgetting the daily baked cakes/treats which we were left daily. Bill is a great host in the morning taking the breakfast orders and offering advice on places to visit and restaurants to dine at and always asking if anything was required for the room. The room itself was immaculately clean and well equipped, with a very comfy bed. The view from the room has amazing views of Weymouth bay and is situated on a quiet part of the beach, with no main road outside it is very quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait for the next stay! The view on the Terrace is situated in a quieter area of Weymouth,just opposite a beach. It is within easy walking distance of Weymouth town centre and the golden safe beach. Also within walking distance of the attractions We stayed in the Flamingo room on the top floor. This room was very clean and well decorated and had a great view of the beach and sea. The breakfasts were absolutely outstanding, the best I have ever had. I’ve stayed in many top rated hotels but none produced food as well. Bill and Ali were outstanding hosts, friendly and kind , a smashing couple. Nothing was too much trouble.

We can't speak highly enough of this great B&B. We were fortunate to have great weather and a spacious room with a bay window overlooking the seafront. The 'View' was full of character, comfortable and clean, and very well located. But what really sets it apart is the hospitality and warmth of Bill and Ali (and the great breakfasts!). We hope to be back one day! D&E

Unser Aufenthalt in The View war einfach unvergleichlich! Ali und Bill sind die herzlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: Direkt am Meer, nachts hört man das Rauschen der Wellen. Die Zimmer sind individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und die Betten sind äußerst bequem. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker und wechselte täglich! Ali sollte ein Restaurant eröffnen! Wir können dieses B&B nur wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in The View!!!
