We booked this beautiful venue as an overnight stay prior to catching the ferry from Rosslare. We wish we had booked for longer. We had a warm welcome from Paul, our room was very comfortable and large with a wonderful big comfortable bed. It was our decision to not have breakfast due to the time of our ferry. The location was beautifully rural, grounds were very well maintained. We will definitely return and stay longer.

Oh how great it must be to call this place home! Utterly charming from the moment you pass through the stone pillars and drive down the tree lined drive to the castle tower. The welcome is warm and genuine and we really did feel relaxed and almost in another century. Every aspect of Killiane feels natural and “right”; as though it has always been just so - and it felt like we were guests in the owners home and not their business. Lovely touches like the home made cake on arrival, and the drawing room honesty bar stocked with very classy ports and sherries added to the relaxing atmosphere; and the room more than matched the refined feel. Absolutely faultless and we really didn’t want to leave. PS - Patrycja - I am 99% certain your “personal bird” is a Red Kite.

We booked the self catering apartment. It was clean comfy and spacious with everything that could be required for a short stay. Breakfast was in the main house and it was quite an experience! The choice was amazing - all home made - very generous portions. The grounds are beautifully kept and accessible to all. Handy for Wexford, Kilkenny etc. would def recommend Killiane Castle for a short stay.

If in Wexford this is a must stay. Beautiful rural location with castle facade and garden. Experience the countryside while staying at a spacious 2 BR apt unit which was very reasonably priced. But the best takeaways are the dedicated husband and wife team and their friendly thorough thoughtful staff. Easily amongst the hardest workers of any hospitality in Ireland. Breakfast……..5 star rating in great tasting food and preparation of all the fresh farm raised eggs and the best prepared use of fruits imaginable. Took home 6 jars of their homemade fresh jam.

This place is so calm and relaxing, it has a lovely feel to it. It is so child friendly , The owners are the nicest people so welcoming and friendly, and helped us with all of our luggage, We were given homemade cookies on arrival and fresh milk and water. A lovely place to stay.

What a gem of a place. Our room on the ground floor was absolutely beautiful, with ensuite bath/ shower/loo; Beds are extremely comfortable and it is so quiet here; On our arrival, we were offered delicious complimentary homemade apple cake and coffee; The surrounding gardens are lovely- so many colourful flowers and two very friendly donkeys; This was the best breakfast i have ever had at a hotel....so much fresh produce and so many cooked options; Really friendly owner; I would definitely want to stay here again.

Gorgeous setting, surrounded by majestic trees and green pastures. Perfect mix between old and new. Very nice bedroom, real king size bed. Great bathroom with food shower. Silent night. Good restaurants in a 2 km radius. Delicious breakfast

Cosy and relaxed
Very cosy and relaxed country house. Our deluxe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. The breakfast is really good except for anaemic, American style coffee. The offer of a decent double esspresso or americano would make it perfect. This is an ideal one night stop before or after a ferry sailing.
