The Hotel is off the track and outside of Main Zurich. The rooms are cramped with no space to move. Telephone and other electronic equipment's were not working. Near to business centre . No near by market apart from a big retail shop. Distance from the train station is approximately 800 meters.

Auf heute Mittag hatten wir einen schönen Geburtstags Tisch für 4 Personen reserviert. Dieser wurde uns per Mail bestätigt, auch das Wunschmenu: Kartoffelstock mit Braten und Sauce. Dazu bestellten wir eine edle Flasche Rotwein. Gekommen ist dann Kartoffelstock mit Bratwurst??? Die Bedienung (Lernende) ging fragen und kam mit der Antwort der Chefin: sie könne CHF 3.00 pro Person reduzieren ... kein Vorbeikommen der Vorgesetzten, keine Entschuldigung??? Das Restaurant war um 13.30 Uhr praktisch leer. Was sollen wir davon halten?

Reception freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer in Beton-Holzlook ist Geschmackssache, Bad ist Top. Frühstückbüffet ist übelste Massenware für 24.- Franken. Personal hinter dem Vorhang am Tratschen, bröseliges Aufbackbrot, matschige Wähe, Rührei aus dem Tetrapack, Früchte sehr versteckt. Im Nachhinein würde ich ohne Frühstück buchen und mit dem gesparten Geld im benachbarten Café Steiner ein leckeres Frühstück mit frischem Brot genießen.

Ich war in dem Hotel weitgehend zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig und es war für Jede/n etwas dabei.
Das einzige Manko war die recht hohe Temperatur im Zimmer. Lag es an der Heizung oder an der Sonneneinstrahlung am Nachmittag? Trotz weit geöffnetem Fenster blieb die Temperatur bis zum Morgen bei 24°C.
Ansonsten fand ich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung.
