I wanted to like this place. It was awful. We think the bed was an original from over 100 years ago. The mattress was a rock. The breakfast was nothing special. The bathroom was tiny. I felt like anything I touched was going to break. We also got the feeling that the innkeeper was not enjoying himself either. I would never stay here again. Sorry 😔

We have stayed here several times. It is a favorite. We look for a reason to go back. This time it was to meet my sister for an early Easter and to Celebrate my Wife’s Birthday. Inn Keeper Tom, welcomed us and helped us carry the bags upstairs to our rooms. This is a well maintained historic building in the Old Wethersfield Historic District. Our rooms had charm not available in most accommodations, Crisp sheets, comfortable beds, towels etc. were fresh and clean. The Inn is spotless. This being a true B&B, the breakfasts are important, we had 3 mornings with this Inn. All served in a relaxed formal dining room. All breakfasts were Delicious. This is not your average English Muffin based meal. Chef Tom offers a unique and imaginative take on Breakfast, relaxing yet caffeinated with aromatic coffee.
