A return to this brilliant hotel food is top notch if portions are a bit big but still hard to resist Friendly staff great location a must visit if you are in the area which has many good tourist attractions Breakfast is great you order and it’s served to you old style

It was comfortable, the staff accommodating and the food was good. Points to note the shower cubicle was small. and the television needed to have a bigger screen. It was nice to see grilled kippers on the breakfast menu and there were gluten free options.

Fantastic hotel with great staff.Hotel rooms spotless and with everything you need.Food was amazing as well as the service and also well situated to visit Keswick.Personally I thought it was underpriced and would have paid more.Spoke to the manager and other staff who were super friendly and helpful.

A great find. We all liked this hotel immensely. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff and owners can't do enough for you. The breakfast and evening meal were really tasty. Excellent value and we will definitely be calling again. Thank you Wayne and team for a memorable stay. Xx

A lovely hotel with a warm welcome, very clean and spacious room. The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food for all tastes. Staff were efficient and attentive who went above and beyond when I needed assistance. Would return without doubt. Good parking and WiFi.

Had Sunday lunch here today…. surprised to find small paper napkins and obviously a “part baked supermarket “ bread roll on our plates, with little packets of butter! My starter should have been pate with bloomer toast (sliced bread toast) and red onion marmalade (standard chutney from a jar)! The roast turkey was fine but came with a selection of vegetables swimming in water, and a flabby Yorkshire pudding (with turkey???) all very unseasoned and tasteless!! As for the Creme Brûlée which I was really looking forward to….. no words!! Won’t be going back! My husband complained and was told “No one else has complained!” ‍♀️‍♀️ As for the concierge?? who, wrongly said he came and asked us if everything ok….. he did not, a waitress did and we told her it was not! However, as we were leaving he called after us “Cheerio”! Very professional!!,

In Green Hill today with friends for lunch which we do quite often. The meals are always 5* good value & the friendly staff can't do enough for you. So take no notice of the review off Evelynann because they must be bad to please no one else complained & her Husband was very rude with the staff which we could all hear. Well done Green hill for your fantastic food & you don't need the likes of these rude people in your Hotel 😡😡
