It's one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Friendly efficient staff who were knowledgeable about the area. Room were warm and very clean with tea n coffee making facilities. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for a few nights shortly before the lockdown and was not impressed. I was with a group on what we all thought was a mind body spirit week but it was nothing of the kind. In fairness it was run by someone who used the hotel as a base for what was essentially a RC religious week. Several people left early in the week when they discovered that it was not as advertised. Although I avoided the religious group, I decided to stay on and make a holiday out of it for myself. I had heard marvelous reports of Hotel Westport but it didn't live up to its reputation. It was very clean but the food was not up to scratch. Not only that but when a group of Americans arrived unexpectedly, our dinner was put back from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. in order for them to have a meal. The Americans were given preference over those who were already in the hotel. I couldn't believe that we were treated so badly by the management. I would never stay at that hotel again nor would I recommend it to my friends. The 3 stars I have given here are mainly for the delightful young people who cleaned my room as they were first class.

Good experience overall just needs slight improvements. Lounge/bar area is a little dated and food was grand. However staff mostly friendly. Overall would return and would recommend for family due to proximity to Westport house and also swimming pool on hotel is ideal for 6-12 year olds.

Lovely stay in beautiful Hotel. Received warm welcome on arrival, Room was extremely comfortable. Hotel was very busy so breakfast was a bit chaotic but couldn’t fault the food. Great atmosphere in the bar. Unable to get spa treatment. Great mid week break really enjoyed stay.

Git a lovely welcome after a long stressful journey. Receptionist with blond hair was so lovely. Didnt get her name. Room great. Comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. Aaron in the bar was great. Breakfast excellent. Handy location for the town and lovely walk through the park to the quays. They lock the gates at 8pm so be careful. Really enjoyed our stay.

My whole family including all the grandchildren had an amazing time in hotrotel Westport, the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them, the rooms were very comfortable and spotless, the food was also lovely, the children loved the pool and want to know when we can go back I would recommend this hotel to anyone and especially family's

I really enjoyed my stay in hotel westport but I mostly enjoyed the treatment I got from staff especially Alannah who made us feel welcome and appreciated. Great to see staff who do their best. Would definitely come back.
