I’ve been going to Weston-super-Mare for years and usually have lovely stays, but this hotel was a let-down. It was my first time trying it and unfortunately, it didn’t meet the standard I’m used to. The room itself was mostly clean, except the toilet — which clearly hadn’t been touched. I had to clean it myself, and no staff offered to sort it either. That shouldn’t be happening, no matter how basic the hotel. The view from the window didn’t help either — all I could see was a demolition site and straight into someone else’s room. No privacy, no scenery, just a building mess. As for the food, it really wasn’t great. The curry they served was dry, and the butternut squash that came with it was rock hard — completely inedible. I expected better for the price. I did mention everything to reception before I left. The woman I spoke to said she’d pass it on, but whether that happens or not, who knows. I just left disappointed, really. It’s a shame, because I love Weston — but I won’t be booking here again.

My stay here was nothing short of incredible. The location is fabulous, with views of the beach breathtaking. Rooms were perfect, the food was super yummy. Our waitress I think was called Amelie exceeded expectations, catering to our every need. I will be recommending to everyone! Well done everyone.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach trip so it was reasonably priced. Beds were comfy, the room was quite small but we only used it for sleeping really so no problem. The food was good and had a few choices each day so something for most people. Very central to everything, the pier was across the road, the shopping centre was yards away and the bus and train stations within walking distance. Good base and good value if part of a coach trip.

Receptionist was fine but it went downhill from there. Rabbit warren of narrow corridors with dirty carpets and scuffed walls led to a key entry bedroom that looked like it was last updated in the 70’s. Bad soundproofing meant that other toilets could be heard Refrigeration unit on flat roof outside ill fitting window made a noise all night. No bedside light or hairdryer Bathroom was tiny, shower had an old school plastic curtain, mouldy silicon and the sink unit was delaminating due to damp. Having stayed in different hotels the length of Scotland and England over the last fortnight, this was the most expensive and worst of them all.

After booking this over a year ago, we were very disappointed to find out once got there and advised whatvto head down for breakfast that we were infact not allowed any orange juice or a choice for breakfast.. we were treated like muc and am extremely disappointed as we have used this hotel before, it seems it had changed hands since we booked and we were not meant to of spent he other people staying there that wwe given choices for breakfast and allowed orange juice. Our toilet had dry sick on it and the whole place was not in good order. We certainly not be returning.

Very dated and needs a huge refurbishment.Breakfast is a strict 8.30am. There are two lifts, one was not working during the duration of my stay and the other an old service lift that has an old inner gate style door. Room was down a rabbit warren of corridors, showeroom was a tiny shower tray with dated shower curtain round it and water damaged vanity unit beside. Light over the mirror did not work. Toiletries was a small bar of soap. There are tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were way below current day expectations.

A pleasant return to Weston. Hotel is due major refurbishment from November which hopefully will see the creation of LOUNGE area which is sadly missing at the moment. Our room was ideal, second floor with a good view of the Grand Pier. No complaints regarding food, good and varied choices served by pleasant and cheerful staff. Entertainment was average, bar staff fine. The variation in floor levels means steps are frequent and on occasions steep. There are two lifts however. Would happily return on completion of refurbishments.

Here now. Tiniest room I have ever seen with 2 single beds with metal frames low to floor, hardly suitable for the elderly or disabled. Toilet bowl stained. Looks like not changed from previous reviews never mind excuse that will refurbish soon. Room hot, even though window open, went to reception where they were sitting with 2 fans to ask for one for the room, told none for guests and they actually have written on their fans not for guest use! Manager said open window and shut curtains . Window was open. Hotel info states telephone in room. There isn't. Some state hairdryer in room, some say ask reception and £10 refundable so didnt bother. TV won't connect to the WiFi. Bathroom door is damaged has a hole and part damaged at bottom. Mould on a spotlight in ceiling. Don't even supply mini toiletries. Old fashioned shower curtain and even older shower head! Not possible to see which is hot and cold water in shower. Hotel must be aware of all this so no point in saying anything else. As for mealtime. I informed them on booking on additional comments that son has ASD and ARFID. Absolutely no attention paid to this or consideration either that or just don’t care. Sat us at a table sharing with 2 others when there were tables of 2 which went to other people. Clearly they have no idea how this affects someone with ASD .
