Scott and Judith exceed your expectations nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very clean with all amenities. Rooms serviced everyday. Children very welcome. Breakfast cooked fresh and is amazing. Location great for the sea, bars and shops. Pet friendly. Been there many times and will be visiting soon. Free use off downstairs lounge with massive television, microwave and your welcome to bring in a takeaway. Cutlery and plates provided. An experience not too be missed.

Stayed at highlea house was shocked when we got here as soon as we went in the door the paint work was filthy there was cobwebs on the ceiling .the furniture in the lounge was awful we seen better in second hand shop ,our room was sort of ok as we are both disabled there was nothing in place no grab rails shower was very small also the sink was cracked .the carpets was full of dogs hairs we were sat having a cup of tea in our room and we had some lodgers couple of bettles crawling across the carpet .so we just stayed the one night how people can say its spotless must have sun glasses on .I would advised not to stay here how definitely would not rate ita 9 more like 2 and don't take notice of the reviews ros and babs

Awful stay was booked 12 August to 14th but cm home on 13th .entrance hall was filthy skirting boards black cobwebs on ceiling ,we were in room one both were disabled there was nothing in place for disabled people no grab rails .the sink was cracked.the unit the tea coffee etc was on were full of tea stains the carpet in the reception was full of dogs hair.the living room for people to meet and relax was awful we seen better furniture in a second hand shop,we came back from the shops on the Tuesday afternoon made a cup of tea and notice we had a couple of lodgers beetles 🪲 plz don't go here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Scott was more than helpful accommodating our requests and the location was good. The room was clean with nice extra touches we weren't expecting and the bed was really comfortable. We have no hesitation recommending this hotel, and send our thanks to Scott.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here! Our room was clean and cosy, decorated with a lovely nautical theme. Our bed was comfortable and we had a coffee maker, teas, fresh water etc. Scott was very friendly and easily contactable with any queries. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered the option of having it delivered to our room! Really convenient location, a 5 minute walk to the marine lake or the beach. Although there was no on-site parking there was street parking or a public car park within spitting distance. I'd definitely be happy to return again, thank you!

This was our 2nd Visit to Highlea House and we cannot fault it in anyway. The place is so relaxed and great rooms. It is so near the Beaches and dog friendly. Also the breakfast is the best!!
