Toilet was dirty, radiator didn't work, room cold. No customer service. Stayed 2 nights starting Friday night. I paid the £133 they requested. To my shock horror my bank confirmed they took another £30.00. I was so upset! Next time I will do a day trip to Weston Supermare!

Arrived here yesterday for a one night stay we booked twin rooms room and one 3 bed room all paid in full before hand. Upon arrival we were told they do not have rooms for 3 people so no way we could have booked it which was obviously totally untrue but the manager just wouldn’t budge and therefore we had to pay for an additional room which we would have to pay for in addition to this she wanted debit card details from one person in every room the woman at front of house woman was rude arrogant and frankly her customer service skills were appalling. We were a small party of mature women so not your party animals that would cause any damage or disrepair to a hotel room speaking of which rooms were as basic as you can get internal doors were locked at night preventing access in case of an emergency you would have to navigate the multitude of corridors in the godforsaken place. There was a gent who was extremely helpful on our checking out this morning also Michelle was amazing such a shame that the lady who I assume is the manager totally lacks people skills avoid this place unless you want to get stung for extra money they really should be paying people to stay here I would never recommend this place to anyone AVOID AVOID AVOID

The bathroom was dirty there was hair on the floor and in the sink as well as toothpaste marks still in the sink, the bed was really hard and the floor was unhoovered we ended leaving this place and booking somewhere else to stay after about 2 hours. We definitely won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Really great pub with very friendly staff. We used to treat this as our local as we only live down the road. Unfortunately we don’t go there now as we have two Dobermans and I get the impression that they are now too keen on them as our dogs are quite anxious and bark when other dogs come in the pub. But still it is a great pub and well liked by very many people 😀

The bear Inn is a lovely local place to stay in Weston super mare! Fran checked us in and showed us around the premises with all the information we needed to know (fire escapes, fire point, after hour’s access, bar access and anything else we needed to know/needed entry to). We heading to town for dinner and then came back to enjoy the pool table and darts. We were served by James who was absolutely lovely and we felt like we’d been coming here for years! Would recommend highly!!

very friendly staff on welcoming. Rooms seriously need refurbishing! all outdated and old, paint fading from the walls and no back board, pillows were so flat! i could hardly sleep! the fitted mattress sheet had stains on it! In the bathroom there was no shower matt which ment we had to use one of our towels ! the blind was broken! there was no bin in the bathroom ! and there was holes in the wall! we could hear anyone walking down the corridors! there was also no signs saying what the wifi was when it is advertised as free wifi, there was no number to call during the night if we needed anyone ! and told to leave the keys in the room when we leave in the morning! only 6 spaces in the car park and was super tight you could not turn around in there! stains on everything! and also there is no sockets to plug phones in near the bed !! about 2 metres away! Also no remote for the TV ! There is a very clear sign (only sign) that there is no smoking in the rooms however when we walked in it smelt like someone had been smoking in there ! very disappointed that there was no food!

I loved this pub, we got a warm welcome from the owners and staff, the drinks were really well priced and the music was great. it looks like your proper typical old school pub. It also has a pool table and skittle alley! Definitely give this a go for a nice pint and crisps if your on your travels. Pub does have a car park too

Booked for myself and 11 year old daughter. Should have been told that this was only one room with a double bed. This room was in no way suitable for a child. Shower slowly drips luke warm water, stinks of damp and loud music playing til 11 pm. No facilities only a tiny bar of soap and a cup kettle and tea bag. Only good thing is excellent location.
