The York Hotel

Me and my wife stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was lovely. Very clean and well looked after. The staff were beyond helpful, fun and professional. They had bingo and a quiz evening. We had such great fun and would highly recommend staying here.

Very disappointing, we have visited on 4 occasions, and the service and food has been extremely good. Today was awful waited 40 mins and then the food only arrived after going to the office to ask if we had been forgotten. After a free soft drink the food arrived 50 mins later. Fish was a nice size and freshly cooked, unfortunately cold chips and peas . By this time I had given in and left,but we payed good money and expect a good eatable meal. On our next visit we will go elsewhere.

A brilliant hotel with amazing friendly staff , beautiful comfortable rooms and excellent choice of great food. We stayed there with Shearings and we cannot fault the amazing staff led by Bea who was totally professional. Well done all of you

We’ve come for an event over the weekend and just had the nicest three night stay. Stayed on the top floor, it feels like a penthouse suite. Three windows a seating area and lovely coffee machine and kettle. The room is spotlessly clean with a huge comfy bed and everything you need. Lovely view of the grand pier which is about 2 min walk away. I’m not sure, but from reviews I think it was Bee who has been working tirelessly all weekend and would bend over backwards to help you out. Although all the staff we met were lovely. We had a meal on the Friday night, couldn’t fault it service was great and the food was yummy Breakfast was easy and plentiful you can just ask what you want for a full English and juices and coffee. No cereal or continental but can’t fault the breakfast it’s all cooked well and you can have as much as you want. Hopefully I can book in next year for the same event. A lovely stay

We phoned The York Hotel to book a table for a meal on the 18 /5/2005 having stayed on previous occasion Bee & the team really looked after us ,nothing is too much trouble Three of us had a Sunday Roast & my wife had the homemade pie Absolutely delicious ,cooked to perfection & plenty of it 10/10 This place is a must if passing or in Weston Supermare ,It’s right on the sea front ,just down from the Pier. Lots of safe Parking ,close to the rear of the hotel in the Sovereign centre We will definitely be returning
