Super leckeres Essen, auch große Auswahl für Vegetarier. Man merkt, hier wird mit hoher Qualität gearbeitet. Angenehmes und familiäres Ambiente im Zentrum von Westendorf. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Herrliches Hotel. Alles um dich wohl zu fühlen. Schwimmbad ist herrlich, vor allem nach schifahren. Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Blick über Tal. Abendessen war auch sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist sehr hilfreich. Genug Parkplätze für PKW.

Prima locatie op nog geen 5 minuten van de skilift in centrum Westendorf. Hotel serveert een uitgebreid ontbijt ,een heerlijke tussendoortje voor na het skiën of wandelen en beschikt over prachtige wellness faciliteiten waaronder verschillende sauna’s en groot zwembad.

We stayed for one night on half board as a break from our camper. The hotel is privately run and it shows. We checked in late afternoon. Our room on the 2nd floor was very spacious with a seating area and balcony. We used the wellness centre which was the main reason we chose this hotel. It is of a standard you would find in an international 5 star hotel. Nice warm pool. Lovely decor with murals on the walls. Three types of sauna and a steam room plus a relaxing area with herbal teas available. Towels dressing gowns and sauna towels to hide one’s modesty are provided although the showers are open. Later we had a lovely 5 course meal as part of our half board and in the morning a buffet breakfast with egg dishes offered at the table. The breakfast is also amazing. I have been reviewing hotels on TA for years and this is amongst the best ever.

Mein langjähriger Freund und ich entschieden uns sehr kurzfristig ein paar Tage zum Skifahren zu gehen. Da ich aus vielen Urlauben die hervorragende Küche vom Glockenstuhl kannte, rief ich analog das Hotel an. Schon das erste Telefonat war super und entspannt. Der aufgerufene Preis akzeptabel und auch sonst entgegenkommend. 6 Std später standen wir an der Rezeption und der erste Eindruck bestätigte sich weiter. Wir hatten eine der Suiten, die mit einer Trennwand ausgestattet war und somit ausreichend Platz und Privatsphäre bot. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas "vintage", aber sehr gepflegt, sauber und das Bad war modernisiert. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Lift und einen sehr großzügigen Spabereich dessen Benutzung im Preis inkl. war. Skikeller mit Skischuhheizung sei hier nur der Vollständigkeit erwähnt. Geparkt wird vor dem Hotel. Das Highlight war aber die gastronomische Versorgung. Neben einem sehr reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet, wurde am Abend ein 5 Gang Menue kredenzt. - Hier kocht der Chef selbst!!! Einfach klasse! Auch der Service bekommt von uns volle Punktzahl. Freundlich, witzig, gastnah, aufmerksam, fix, umsichtig...... Wie schon der Titel ausdrückt, wir waren rundherum zufrieden und der Kurzurlaub wird uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Danke an das Glockenstuhlteam!

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Ins Zentrum 5 min. Zur Alpenrosenbahn 9 Minuten. Die Bushaltestellen liegen im Zentrum. Von dort kommt bis nach Kitzbühel oder Wörgl über Hopfgarten. Mit der Gästekarte kostenlos. Man kommt überall hin ohne Auto um die Wandergebiete zu entdecken. An der Rezeption war man überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aufzug ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer ist gepflegt mit Teppichboden. Safe ist im Zimmer. Ebenerdiger Dusche. Ausblick auf das Hotel nebenan. Seitlicher Bergblick. Frühstück und Abendessen waren gut. Es gab reichlich zu Essen. 5-Gänge Menü. Toll ist das Hallenbad mit großer Wellnessoase. Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus. Einen Mittagskaffee gibt es nicht. Es wurde Mittags nichts angeboten an Getränken.

The staff were all extremely friendly, kind and helpful; they truly made my experience at the hotel that much better. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily by excellent cleaners. There was a lovely view of the mountains from our room. There was a bus stop just a small walk away from the hotel to catch a bus to the gondola which was very helpful. The breakfast is as outstanding. A delicious mix of sweet and savoury; something for everyone. The town is right round the corner from the hotel which is very convenient for the evenings; there are many wonderful restaurants which Elizabeth (the owner of Glockenstuhl) can help you choose from. Overall, an extremely enjoyable trip and I will definitely be returning to Glockenstuhl hotel in the future.
