2-Star Hotels in West Yellowstone

We stayed at the Days Inn in West Yellowstone while visiting YNP. Our room was very clean and neat and the staff were very friendly. It's a nice budget place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. It's convenient to restaurants (I recommend Running Bear Pancake House, The Buffalo, and Pete's Pizza for food). It has a small indoor pool with a goofy slide and a hot tub--we didn't use either of these amenities. It's convenient to get into Yellowstone NP. They offer free breakfast, but you'll want to skip that amenity. It's not good at all. However, I understand from the staff that the hotel has a new owner, so they are still figuring out the breakfast thing, so maybe by next year it will be worth it. Also be advised that they do not clean rooms while you are staying there. The rooms are cleaned after you check out. I'd stay here again given its cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff.

Very friendly staff at front desk took time to tell us about the town and best places to go to. The rooms are comfy and clean, definitely nice for a few nights to stay. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and park entrance, as well as IMAX and grizzly bears & wolves center.

Last month we were with a group and fortunately our director had chosen Yellowstone West Gate Hotel for our lodging . I feel it necessary to praise two members of the staff. Karla Salinas was friendly, gracious and extremely helpful. One day I remained back at the hotel while our group went to their destination. At mid day I had wanted to go to the bear and wolf center but did not have transportation........Karla to the rescue. She arranged for me to have transportation. Also must praise another employee, Judy. She was very pleasant, professional and ready to assist the guests. All in all, the Yellowstone West Gate Hotel can be proud of their staff.

It belongs to the type of motel, with a total of two floors. It is relatively large and has more rooms. It is easy to check in and check out. Free parking. The room is more compact, mainly because there is no wardrobe, there is a shelf next to the room where you can wash a few clothes. Two beds of about 1.5, can accommodate 4 people. The room I lived in was on the second floor without an elevator. My suitcase is small, so there is no inconvenience. Breakfast is simple, bread, milk, coffee, tea. Fried cheese chicken dan, hot and salty oat paste. You can eat without being picky. The location is good, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it: Honglian. There is also a medium-sized supermarket. It is about 10 minutes walk from the west entrance of Yellowstone Park.

Good luck hotel free ugrade became a suite, or if I look at a friend's room, it is too small. It’s actually a motel, but the hotels in Huangshi’s peak season are so expensive. The hotel has free coffee, lemonade and cookies, no breakfast, but the location is very convenient, there is a Euro Cafe next to breakfast, we also bought a sandwich to go to Yellowstone for a picnic. It is close to supermarkets and Chinese and Western restaurants.

A nice hotel

The parking lot is really a lot of empty seats. There is a hot water bottle. There is a humidifier. There are actually Apple TV and Netflix! I feel very VIP treatment and I don't know why the American quilt is a layer of sheets and a layer of sheets. But the owner who used the quilt will not run around. It is also very friendly. We recommend the surrounding restaurants and recommend it. The delicious meal is especially delicious. It also gives us a good map of the town. It is very inconvenient except that there is no elevator to pull the luggage.

Simple hotel with the basics. Three beds and lots of room. Comfortable mattress. There was a 1 inch gap in our front exterior door on the second floor. When I told the front desk staff about it and said I was worried that mice would get in, she said they hadn’t yet. She then asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I asked if there was something we could use to close the gap and she said use a towel. When I asked her for a towel she seemed annoyed that I asked. We didn’t get any mice in it that shouldn’t even be a concern.

This motel is located near the west gate of Yellowstone Park. The location is absolutely advantageous. The hotel is not big, but the layout is good. There is a large square table for eating. In addition, the hotel provides free ice cubes, which is also very good. The only downside is that the heating is difficult to adjust. I wake up at night and turn on the heating.
