Terra Nova Cabins

This is such a magical place, not just because of the location, but because of the staff. If you want to escape the crowds of West Yellowstone and the park while still being close to it, this is the perfect place to stay. It has gorgeous views over the lake and beautiful mountains, and really just makes you feel like one with nature, while still being comfortable in one of the nice accommodations. You can sit outside and enjoy the views, play games, sit by the fireplace, while getting a visit from the most beautiful fox Foxy with the most bushy tail. The lovely people that runs this place, are so kind hearted and helpful, it’s hard to find people like that, and they will make sure you’re comfortable during your stay! We were so grateful to stay at their little oasis and can’t wait to come back again. Go here! Thanks SuAn and co.!

Beautiful and well-kept, a gem along Hebgen Lake! These cute, modern structures are a good place to stay after a day on the Rendezvous trails at West Yellowstone. I loved the peaceful and quiet setting along the lakeshore and magnificent views. Plan ahead for meals - it’s a bit isolated.

We were expecting the rooms to be pretty basic, but they were much nicer than we expected. Modern, clean and comfortable, with a microwave, kettle and mini fridge. It is about a 20-25 min drive to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. But we realize that accommodation gets booked up quickly, so although it ends up being a lot of driving, we weren't complaining. There's a small store with basic food and stuff at the cabins, but if you want anything more, you need to buy it in town.

Cute, rustic & modern on the outside & the room is spacious inside. No a/c (which I saw somewhere ahead of time but wasn't prepared for how warm it was inside). They do provide a fan so that's nice. Shower is terrible setup (have to climb in to turn on so you're soaked with freezing water) then the wall has mildew all along baseboard & by shower bec of water so there is a strong smell in the bathroom. You also share a small water tank with the people that share the "trailer" with you. You also hear everything from the other part of the "trailer" (not sure exactly what to call it), so it's noisy. Lady at check in was nice and the setting is pretty.
