Pleasant Valley Motel West Stockbridge

Guests appreciate the kind and friendly staff, providing excellent service. The location is praised for being great and quiet, situated off the Massachusetts Pike.

The room was supposed to be for a king sized bed. That is what I reserved at least. For some reason we were give a room with double beds. Also, the room was like a fridge. The heat was not on. The temperature on the thermostat was bottom out. All of this started off with waiting outside in the cold at the check in window. Which a sweet elderly lady who spoke barely any english tried to assist me. It was like her son, I am assuming the owner, forgot about my reservation. After waiting for a while and talking with the son on the phone I was finally given a room. The room was dark, dank, and again, freezing cold. I left the room, asked for a refund, which I was promptly refused and put that motel in my rearview. I would recommend everyone avoid this place. The service was awful. Again the elderly woman was sweet, but she should defintely not be left alone trying to handle that without speaking english fluently. Other than her, I have nothing good to say about this place.

Easy access to the Massachusetts Turnpike and less than 10 miles away from the tourist options I selected.
