Pardlestone Farm - practically perfect in everyway Our hosts were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The facilities were kept clean and up-to-date. Presentation of the property and rooms was excellent. Breakfast was provided at a time of each guests request and the poached eggs were the best I have ever had, simple sublime! Thank you so much.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the BnB rooms, booked for a milestone birthday. Ann went above and beyond to ensure our whole stay was special, kindly agreeing to purchase the bubbles I requested; found chilling in the room upon arrival which we ended up enjoying in the beautiful garden accompanied by a slice of carrot cake offered to us by Ann. Ann was a wonderful host, equipping us with maps and routes for our long circular walk which took in breaking views of the Quantock Hills and Frog Combe. And recommended some fabulous places to eat and have a drink, highly recommend the Hood Arms which we visited twice, Combe House Hotel and a superb and highly reasonable carvery at the Babbling Brook Inn. Mark cooked us two delicious breakfasts, of which one was consumed al fresco, nothing seemed too much for the hosts, who even laid a fire for us in their comfy living room and really set the mood for a pleasurable evening. Our room was very comfortable and noted our biscuit jar was always well stocked. All in all, left safe in knowledge that we will be returning as had such a great time and made some beautiful memories. Thank you Ann and Mark. Best wishes Ruth

What a fantastic place to stay , everything about it was perfect ! Ann greeted us with tea and cake which was a lovely touch . The whole property is beautiful and spotlessly clean . The location is great , tucked away down a quiet lane but within easy driving distance to lots of places . Mark saved us a delicious breakfast on both mornings and was polite and helpful . All in all a really great place to stay

A couple of weeks ago we spent a delightful weekend at this exceptional and charming B&B at Pardlestone Farm in Somerset. Ann and Mark were wonderful hosts, giving us a warm welcome and serving us tea and homemade cake in the garden on arrival. Our room was beautiful and looked just like a photo from a magazine. It was clean and comfortable and every need was catered for. Ann was keen to advise us on suitable walks and provided us with maps and directions. On both nights we booked a table at The Hood Arms in the village and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and staff were friendly. It was a pleasant walk down the lane from the farm and on our return to the B&B we enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the comfortable and stylish sitting room. A delicious full English breakfast, plus fresh fruit salad, yogurt, compote and granola, toast and homemade preserves was professionally served to us by Mark in the elegant and cosy dining room while another fire burned in the log burner. We were sad to say goodbye but definitely look forward to returning for another stay.

This has been the most excellent B and B we have ever stayed in , and we have stayed in many over the years. Mark and Ann were superb hosts catering for every need. Food choices excellent. Bedroom so comfortable. Exceptionally clean and well cared for. Only complaint was that we were not staying longer than 3 nights. Will definitely be back.

If I could award Pardlestone Farm 10 stars I would! We have just returned from a four night stay in The Pony Barn with horses and dogs. Ann and Mark could not have made us feel more welcome and we have had the most exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at Pardlestone Farm for three nights last week and it was nothing less than exceptional. The attention to detail and the comfort experienced is rarely found. Everything down to the beds, shower, kitchen set up, extras was of the highest quality and certainly the best room for miles around. It is also incredible peaceful. A stay at Pardlestone Farm is highly recommended.

I loved staying at the farm, it was very English countryside gorgeous. Ann & her husband were lovely and offered suggestions on where to visit that was close by. The Hood was suggested for dinner and for a country hotel the food was 5 star, excellent and the staff would great you by name if you had a booking. I loved my time at the farm.

I had a wonderful stay this weekend at Groom’s Cottage with my mum, 2nd-3rd December. Apple Maps took us straight there and it was very easy to find. We were greeted by our hosts Ann and Mark who were just so warm and friendly. We were shown to the cottage and it is really lovely. It had such a cosy feel. It was impeccably clean and had everything we could possibly need, but felt so comfortable if we needed anything I know we could have asked and it would have been no trouble. We came for a weekend with no expectations on what to do other than Dunster castle on Sunday. We spoke to Ann and she suggested Dunster by Candlelight which happened to be taking place Saturday afternoon into the evening. We went and had a great time. There are so many pretty places to visit, we also went out for lunch on Saturday at watchet harbour, again a beautiful place. The 2 degree cold didn’t matter - wrap up warm and carry on!! Also Pardlestone is particularly beautiful in the frost! Definitely something to do to suit adults, children and singletons alike. Thank you so much Ann and Mark for an amazing stay, we will definitely book again soon!
