We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We have a baby and she was also accommodated... we loved that.

We had a late arrival bur that was no problem. When we arrived at the gate they knew we were comming. The room was basic but the bed was excellent. For breakfast we could choose from a menu and we sat outside with lake view. Across the lake there was a beachclub. This will be very nice in summer I think. Very nice staff.

The lodge has been the worst experience ever. The upkeep of the building is terrible there were insects in the room which i sprayed doom and killed and after room service the next day the insects were still there laying dead. On Wednesday I got a call from the chef and notified him I would be coming for dinner. When I arrived a little before 8pm I was told the chef is gone and no provision was made for my dinner even though my company paid. The breakfast menu only has 3 items. It was the worst experience EVER!

On my arrival ,when I saw the place I wasn’t happy with the place how it looked I felt like I was in a wrong place…the way it was advertised on the internet it’s not what we saw so we asked for a refund and we still waiting for ur finance lady to contact us…

The location is tranquil and the facilities are clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious and the venue has great photographic scenery. The staff were all friendly and made the stay very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay as a family. We received a warm welcome by the Manager, enjoyed the breakfast throughout our stay. The whole team was welcoming. Excellent service from Hilda and Precious. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Thank you to our hosts who welcomed us like kings. Everything was perfect. The magnificent, very spacious room, impeccable cleanliness, tasteful decoration. The meal was delicious. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Huge thanks to Kiki, her family and her team

Stornoway lodge is an escape from the city with beautiful nature surroundings and this is exactly what my husband and I needed. A dam with a walking bridge, canoeing with beautiful surroundings, Ducks in ponds, quiet walks with a sound of birds, A pool with relaxing chairs, beach restaurant with beautiful music, delicious food with amazing stuff in both restaurants, a view of the dam while enjoying your meal, braai facilities in all the units, playground with a water slide and jumping castle for the kids, farm animals. You will never get board. The rooms are spacious, we absolutely loved the self catering unit. We will definitely be coming back but this time we are booking the room with an outdoor private jacuzzi 😀
