Tiki Boutique Hotel Lombok

3 sleepless nights at this little hotel that is nowhere near 'boutique' and not as listed (not 'adults only, no private beach.. just to start). The worse mattress that left me sleepless for 3 nights and an aching back. Moved the outside lounge mattress to the floor in hopes more comfort which, no surprise, didn't help much. When my bed was made the next morning (despite my 'not now ' sign), the mattress was moved back outdoors, with no inquiry as to why it was there in the first place. Breakfast was minimal compared to other included breakfasts throughout Indonesian (toast even came without butter), and many of the listed amenities are non-existent. In my sleeplessness, I wondered how I could have gotten this choice of accomodation so wrong when I had researched and consulted reviews. The review rabbit-hole led me to initial not-so-positive reviews (to which one hotel response was to notify police!) to suddenly, lengthy wordy, glowing reviews with lengthy, self-promoting responses that I assume (so can not say for certain) are AI generated. (Some of the uploaded photos from different 'reviewers' are the same photos, which seem to be promo photos). I am not looking to damage a local business, but there seems to be very little love in the operation of this establishment and a whole lot of dishonesty. For $20 more, truly boutique, eco-conscious alternatives exist, with truly 5-star, friendly, caring service. And a stellar mattress for a fantastic night's sleep.

The photos and description for this property are very misleading. We stayed for 3 days, and the main issue is it feels like you have been sold something very different to the reality. In no way should this be described as "boutique". It is very basic and overpriced for what it is. The ceiling fan was incredibly noisy, the outside bathroom has seen better days and the pool needed a good clean. However - my children enjoyed playing in the pool, the breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly.

I would not stay here again, boutique is very misleading. No A/C, terrible little wall fan, stupid wooden frame around bed which makes it almost impossible to get out of, mouldy bathroom.

Value for money Cute little resort. The staff were all really great, we wanted to head to the beach so they let us stay past check out time at no charge and set us up with transfers for our next destination. Only thing that was a real bummer and we didn’t stay long because of it is there is no A/C in the rooms and they are very hot and muggy, my husband was dying and didn’t get much sleep and the restaurant was closed for Ramadan and there were not many other options around. Breakfast was great at the hotel though
