The hotel resembles an old manor. We found staff members distant and off putting, almost condescending. However, the hotel is quiet, the breakfast is fresh and ample, the location is good, and the bathrooms are very clean.

TV didn't work. Shower liner so long you have to be careful not to slip in the tub toilet ran all night. Iron was busted. Breakfast was the worst I've experienced, and I always stay at a residence inn (I have a stay booked in Jersey in August and 1 in Waldorf in January). Eggs were runny/full of water, the choices on Saturday were eggs, turkey sausage, and pancakes. on Sunday eggs, turkey sausage and French toast. A pork product in addition would be nice for those of us that don't eat turkey (which was dry by the way). The apple juice and water were the 2 best things offered. coffee was cold and diluted. where was the yogurt? or do you not offer that her? There were 2 boiled eggs, and everything looked pretty depleted by 7:15 am There was tons of bread, but where were the Danishes and muffins? had to spend money to get breakfast smoking section is out front and definitely NOT 25 feet from door, so the pregnant front desk person and others kept coming out asking people to move as when people opened the door the smoke would go in. I understand her concern, but it felt a little like harassment due to the poor planning of the person who decided to put the smoking section there.1 small pot and a pan in the kitchen. Comfortable spacious suite. Nice big refrigerator and well stocked kitchen. Great service. Great Chit Chat diner nearby. Pet friendly 🐾 Close proximity to Papermill Playhouse and amazing pre Broadway theatre. 🎭 Friendly staff and clean rooms. Slept well.

It is not a walkable area. Limited sidewalks in that area. Recommend car rental.

We thought The Marriott residence would be just fine, but it exceeded ALL expectations. The staff was exeptionally helpful. The layout and interior design of our quarters were creative and optimal. The building was spotless. The location was perfect for us. We have promised ourselves that whenever we return to the area, this is where we will stay.

Great Service
The gentleman who was at the front desk and dealing with an irate customer on the phone. He was patient and apologizing to me for the wait. We had a great room too. It’s hard working in customer service and great experiences deserve to be highlighted.
