Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh West Mifflin

Holiday Inn Express is a good hotel slightly away from the main Pittsburg city. It’s provides all the basic amenities, not a very high end but a god place for budget travellers. It was quite expensive during the college move-in days but cheaper than those near the university. Most shopping areas are closer to to the hotel. The breakfast was quite repetitive especially for those staying longer. Basic amenities such as laundry could be better and even a cold water machine would have been helpful.

We've often stayed at Holiday Inn Express locations because of what we perceived as good value for the money. Not any more. The West Mifflin location has been allowed to deteriorate unacceptably. Located in a rather out of the way area, they nonetheless charge pretty high prices for the barely above budget accommodations they provide. More than anytthing, it's falling apart. In what was a very large suite the bathroom was so miniscule that I could barely turn around in it without hitting something, and both of us could not use it simultaneously to prepare. The shower curtain was torn. The headboard was visibly smeared with hair products. The mirrors were filthy. The carpet was stained in the room and several places in the hallways. When we checked in, the remaining toilet paper was almost gone and we had to request another roll as there wasn't a spare in the room. The furtnure was uncomfortable and oddly arranged. There was only a single plastic cup in the room. As an aside, there is a lovely little courtyard behind the building that would be a nice place to sit and relax after a long day, but although it is obviously well designed and maintained, there is not a single place to sit down.

The staff was so friendly n polite, the young lady with red n black hair was so sweet n nice n accommodating towards my dad, he's 82, she kept us all close n on the 1st floor! She was a Princess!! Even the man mopping the flr was happy, friendly n talkative! Very polite people! Clean rooms! Clean common area n nice bfast as well, coffee all day n nite! Definitely stay here! Also the young woman with the big round hoop earrings was adorable n friendly n so polite, thanks to all u guys!!

West Mifflins finest The space was great bed somewhat comfortable. The bed had a bad spring by the foot of the bed. Some sloppy maintenance work but overall great stay and would stay again.

Staff was super super friendly! Very clean rooms and space.
