Very disappointing Although we actually only wanted a bed for the night, I had hoped it would be in a room that had heating! It was absolutely freezing, the curtain’s didn’t close properly, and even the cushions in the bed were shabby and torn. The mattress was also really uncomfortable. When we arrived we were shown to our room, and shown how to enter the building should we return after they were closed. We were not told there was a code to get in, although we have since found out this was in the manual. We were also reassured that should there be a problem there is someone on site who would help us. When we arrived back, after they had closed, we initially could not get in. Clearly we should have had a code! We tried calling, and although we could hear the phone no one answered. Eventually my husband managed to pull open the door, which obviously wasn’t locked, but had swollen in the bad weather, which then made us question the security! We then went to our freezing cold room, and left first thing. It was so uninviting that we didn’t even use the shower, just went home, grateful to be out of there. On a plus, the location is very good.

Brilliant little place very nice room and excellent service and very friendly people

Lovely business trip. Nice comfy stay in a great location. Very attentive staff. Will defo be returning next trip down south with work. Room was spacious clean and tidy and loved having a few beers in the cosy pub down stairs. Was welcomed by all the regulars.

Lovely little boutique hotel pub. Really welcoming the staff are fabulous really attentive and pour a great pint. Location is really central to everything in the high street . Very comfortable beds and a great base if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable convenient and friendly. Will definitely return thanks for having us.

I stayed here in December with my partner. It was easy to access, communication was great and helpful. The room itself was beautiful and very clean. They even had entertainment below at the pub which saved us wandering around in the cold trying to find anything to do! Really impresssd, would definitely return

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and a welcoming warm atmosphere. The rooms were of high standard and perfect for my group of friends. The staff took the time to make recommendations, exploring the lovely area of West Malling. Special thanks to Ollie, who made sure our stay was enjoyable.
