The room is in poor hygiene and remote location. The Chinese lady boss is not as friendly as the reviews say. The carpet in the room is very dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned and they said the workers would clean it tomorrow morning after get off work. However, check-out is required at 9am, so I will be facing garbage for the night I stay here. The blanket on the bed is very prickly and there is no soft quilt, so I have to wear something thick to sleep. The worst experience in Tasmania was the one night I stayed here.

The location is near Taroona beach, Tinderbox, Southern Light viewing point, near Mt. Wellington, close to the city. The hotel is quite old. But the room is warm and has towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. There is no water provided in the room. It is recommended to buy your own food and water.
