Very quiet, very basic accommodations. Walk out of your room and in the water snorkeling in seconds. It was our own private lodge. Minutes to walk to any kind of restaurant or diving. Would recommend to anyone. The owners are super cool!

The room was simple and cozy with clean linens and a wonderful view from the balcony. We were there during Semana Santa and the music from across the bay was incredibly loud. But other than that, we loved this place.

The rooms are big, clean, A/C worked well. Bathroom is fine and beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. The hotel does not have a restaurant or other services, but the location is excellent, quiet and right next to the water and it's very easy to go swimming in the protected bay. It's only a short walk to restaurants, grocery store, dive shops and "downtown" West End. The owners are friendly and helpfull.

Half moon bay property is very bare bones. Do not come here wanting to be pampered. The rooms are very basic. No Tv, just a bed, couple end tables and a small fridge to put your water in. With that being said the Staff was super friendly the grounds were clean, the surrounding were very quite a couple blocks from the main town center. It was nice to decompress and spend time in the Ocean which is just feet away from the resort. The snorkeling was great as the reef you can see from your room and walk right out to it.
With that being said Half moon bay was exactly what I was looking for to get away from work and recharge with the beauty of the ocean at my toes.

Halfmoon has been my go to place for several years. Love the authenticity, the calm, the access to the bay directly from the room. I'm very sad that the place is now for sale. It won't be the same anymore.
