This was one of the not so nicest resorts I’ve stayed on. We arrived at 2am to a pitch black establishment and was greeted by a man with no shirt and no shoes. It was scary. He grabbed our belongings and turned on the lights. first He handed us actual keys, and led us to our room which had an exterior cooling unit. When we walked in, I seriously thought it was a joke because it looked like the hotel from the Martin episode where he was fighting the puppy. needless to say it was an uncomfortable morning of sleep and we had our first excursion at 6 AM so we were delirious. The food on the resort was mediocre as was the pool area. Now I will say the staff were very kind but the resort itself just was not it. Our family stayed next-door in a castle…a literal castle that was absolutely gorgeous so we were so confused as to why our location Was what it was, but we made the best of our stay
