Amazing hidden gem The hotel is a fantastic authentic and historic place to relax with some beautiful gardens and countryside close to woolacombe bay and Ilfracombe . Real find will certainly be staying again .Thankyou

Made a very last min booking due to being let down by another local property. Within hour of the call, the room was ready and comfy. The hotel manager was extremely helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Swimming pool was warm and lots of toys and floats for the girls. Games room was a popular place and kept us busy. Not sure we have been to a hotel that has a few Emus :) Great hotel and amazing staff - will happily return.

Just returned from a weeks stay at one of the cottages at Trimstone. A lovely family break surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside. The cottage had everything needed for a self catering break, the swimming pool was fantastic, we had it to ourselves most evenings. Our two teenage boys really appreciated the pool table and table tennis in the games room and often chose that rather than spending time on their phones (even though the WiFi was excellent). The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel gardens were lovely to walk around and sit in, especially with the added bonus of watching the peacock roaming around. Would not hesitate to back.

A traditional old country house situated about 1/2 mile down a narrow country lane certainly a very rural setting. We stayed in the hotel and not self catering cottages that are also available. Our room had wonderful views over the countryside. The room was clean and tidy. Certainly a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival from Rhianne who was extremely helpful during our stay. No evening meal available during our stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. EV charging available on site for extra cost. Enjoyable stay.

Lovely place to stay.
The hotel was very clean. We had some minor issues which were immediately resolved by the very lovely hotel staff. The owners were very friendly and spoke to us every day.

Fantastic stay
Amazing hotel with plenty to do, swimming pool was lovely and fell in love with the emus. Take your walking boots as plenty to explore !!!

Interesting place. Fantastic staff. Lovely room. Made to feel very welcome. Felt part of the family. Best welcome ever. Wonderful garden with different birds we could sit in outside our room. The emus and turkeys especially. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet location. Was lovely to hear owls and see bats.

Trimstone Manor is an absolutely delightful hotel for a getaway. The staff are very friendly, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms are comfortable. It’s nicely located near the sea where the waves are great for surfing! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are very welcoming and lovely people. Also, when I lost a valuable item, the hotel went out of their way to help reunite me with it! Amazing place to stay all round and I would highly recommend.
