Deerhill Inn

Our stay at the Deerhill Inn was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the Azalea room, which felt like stepping into a charming little English cottage. The room even had its own private deck, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings. The space was cozy and comfortable, though the bathroom had a bit of an awkward layout and limited counter space. That said, everything was spotlessly clean, and there were plenty of towels provided. Our hosts, Ariane and Scott, were fantastic—so friendly and helpful. Scott is a true wizard in the kitchen; breakfast was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Chatting with Ariane was a pleasure, and her dinner recommendations were spot on. Even though it was too chilly to fully enjoy the grounds, we could tell the outdoor areas and pool looked very inviting. We only stayed for one night, but we left wishing we could have stayed longer. We’re already talking about coming back next year to spend a little more time here.

Lovely, quaint, inviting and well appointed inn. Owners go the extra mile to help guests whether with room details or where to hike, shop or dine. Our suite was spacious yet cozy -and equipped with a Keurig coffee maker with coffee varieties . There were also homemade chocolate chip cookies welcoming us. . Bathroom offered L’Occitane toiletries. And bathrobes! Public rooms included a large sitting area near the entrance, living rooms with nice mountain vistas, games, chess and dvds. 2 Dining rooms with a small outdoor patio for eating or just having your coffee or tea while you bird watch. And the made to order breakfasts are superb!!! We attended the wonderful Marlboro Music Festival, less than a 30 minute drive from the inn. So this inn was fairly convenient while situated away from the hubbub of nearby Pennington.

Scott, the owner was warm and inviting, made us feel right at home. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The food was excellent. Strongly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a relaxing few days. Very close to ski mountain and various restaurants

The Deerhill Inn is so beautiful, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Amenities are top notch and breakfast is fantastic. What makes it truly stand out is its wonderful innkeepers, who go out of their way for their guests. Absolutely a 5-star inn!

Beautiful cosy homely Inn. Individually designed rooms. Spotlessly clean.Every detail has been thought out to ensure your comfort. Ariane and Scott could not be more attentive and make you feel so welcome in their gorgeous home.

The owners (Ariane and Scott) are consummate hosts. The inn is absolutely charming and immaculate, both common spaces and my guest room. The breakfast was a five-star breakfast served elegantly. Shout out for the fresh-baked scone. And the fresh-squeezed OJ. Especially comfortable bathrobe and top-flite toiletries (L'Occitane). And the EV charger was a bonus eliminating any "range anxiety". The truth be told, I'm a homeowner in the area, but with 14 guests at the house (children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews), the Deerhill Inn was my "great escape". Hoping to need the escape again, both soon and often.

My husband and I had a phenomenal stay at Deerhill Inn for our honeymoon. Scott and Ariane were both so kind to us, even letting us buy the superb coffee they served. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with multiple options each day, overlaid with relaxing classical music. They had an adorable dog that hung out with us in the dining room, which added charm to it. We also loved our Garden Suite room, which had a private entrance and a gorgeous view of the mountains. We can't wait to return!

The hosts (Ariane and Scott) were outstanding: welcoming, cheerful, professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Deerhill Inn. Scott and Arianne were the perfect hosts, they were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable with the added bonus of our own real flame fire. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and the scones were amazing. As the Inn did not do a dinner service we enjoyed a dinner at the Sawmill bar and table just a couple of minutes walk down the hill which was very good.
