We went twice this week with my family and had an amazing eating experience. The chef, Richie should be highly commended for producing 14 meals of such high quality. The staff are insanely friendly and tentative and deserving of our praise as well. Highlights were the steak which was stunning and the burgers. Pricing was also very reasonable, portions were huge and all very fresh. We will definitely go back and would make a 3 hour journey just for the food and staff. Highly recommended.

There roast is delicious, I have on many occasions had there Sunday roast and have never been disappointed, my first go to place to have one on a Sunday 😊

I booked this property for my birthday and wedding anniversary weekend. At first all seemed ok, our room was a good size rather dark with a smallish window with a window we later found out would not open. When we ordered pre dinner drinks after sitting looking at the menu we were told there was a problem as there had not been a delivery that day. We were presented with a menial list of what was available. Nothing my husband and I found we wanted. Staff were very good and tried very hard to help us. If we had been told when we checked in we would have found somewhere else to eat. My meal was of inferior quality I hardly care anything. My husband also struggled to eat his meal. The plumbing in the adjacent rooms during the night was noisy, and the room extremely hot overnight. The breakfast was ok ! Very overcooked bacon . We decided not to stay our second night which we had paid for and asked for a refund which was denied. Lauren the bar manager was brilliant and did try to secure us a refund. As a goodwill gesture we didn’t have to pay for our awful evening meal. We decided to leave after one night. This establishment is ‘rudderless’ staff tried very hard, they deserve better. If it’s still in business in twelve months I shall be surprised, which would be a shame. It needs care and a fulltime person overseeing the business. I would Never recommend to anyone !!
