Awful experience. Front desk lady was fine upon check in, but when we got up to our room, we found our bathroom and various other parts of our room were not clean. Both sides of the shower curtain were filled with thick black hair and hair covered the sides of the tub. There were also hairs in our bed. When we went down to ask if the bathroom could be cleaned, the window for reception was closed and the woman was angrily walking around as other guests reported issues with their rooms (hotel policy says guests have to report issues within 24hrs or they can be fined, so no reason for her to be angry). The next morning at 10am, we went downstairs and requested to have our bathroom cleaned due to the unsanitary conditions. The woman at the desk promptly told us that they don’t clean unless someone is staying for over 2 weeks and because we were only staying for 2 nights, they would not clean it. I was appalled to say the least as they clearly had not cleaned between guests. We requested to have the shower curtain changed at the very least which she said she would have done. My partner came back to the hotel room at 2pm and nothing had been done. When we both arrived back at 12:30am, it still had not been taken care of. We were forced to buy Clorox wipes to wipe out the tub and removed the curtain so that we could shower comfortably. When your policy says you provide a CLEAN and comfortable stay, perhaps you should ensure it is clean when your guests arrive. The following morning, we left the room at 10:48 for our 11am checkout. I noticed the sign that stated guests must take out trash and attempted to re-enter the room to take it out (only items were the used Clorox wipes and the hair I had taken off of the shower/bed). Neither of our key cards worked. We went to the front desk to ask, but the window for reception was closed yet again. This was strange due to the strict 11am checkout policy for all guests. Neither of us had time to call and discuss trying to have someone open the door for us to take out the trash (which wouldn’t have been an issue if they had simply cleaned in the first place), so we left fearing a $50 fine. Other guests also seemed troubled by the hotel, citing concerns of odors and unclean facilities. Please take your money elsewhere as this hotel clearly does not care about their promises to their customers and does not practice sanitation regularly. Note: These photos were taken after I had cleaned up much of the hair on both the outside and inside of the curtain.

It’s a place to stay Extremely long wait for check-in. Room floors needed mopped. No hand towels. Bath towels had never been washed. They smelled musty, left strings, & lint all over you. Hotel has weird odor as well.

Nobody at the front desk from 8pm until 10am. Sheets were dirty but could've get clean ones because no one at front desk. Room smelt like pot and cleaner combined. Not enough towels. Expected to take our trash to their dumpster when we checked out.

When we arrived on Friday night, a very friendly lady checked us in. Unfortunately, our TV didn't work, and despite her efforts to fix it, she couldn't get it to work either. She called maintenance, who said they could come in an hour, but we declined due to the late hour and asked them to come on Saturday instead. They did, and the TV was fixed. However, after checking in, we never saw another staff member again. I chose this hotel because it had a kitchenette in the room. After placing all the cold items in the freezer and fridge on Friday evening, we discovered that neither the fridge nor the freezer worked, and all the food we brought was ruined. I noticed the temperature wasn't cold enough when I first opened them, but I thought it just needed to be adjusted, which wasn't the case. With no staff available, there was no one to report the malfunctioning fridge to. Additionally, there was no ice machine or even a box of tissues in our room. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this hotel.

Front desk was closed for the majority of the stay. There was a discarded contact lens on my sheets (not mine). I could not request a change as there was no staff present at any point in my stay outside of check in.

Staying at the Half Way House This extended stay hotel does not advertise that they are acting as a half-way house or some other type of rehab facility. I am not sure what type of housing was being arranged, but these were not extended stay workers or travellers. It was noisy, in part because there are no carpets in the rooms, so that people above can be heard through the ceiling.
