River Rooms Nottingham

Very clean & tidy. Basically serviced accommodation. Decent size room with standard double bed and modern bathroom. Shower cubicle was a bit on the small size but quite adequate and shower had decent power. Kitchen useful. Easy self access with plenty of parking. Recommended for one or two nights stay over. We will use again.

It is a hotel near a residential area. Only self check in service is provided. You should bring with your smart phone for check in othetwise you will be in trouble. Also check out time is at 10:30am which is too early.

The on-site says no children, only adults. But children were staying there. There was loud music on one night that was sorted out. But the second night, a child was running around in one of the suites. So why say no child, adults only? That was why we booked to stay there.

We booked to visit Trent Bridge for the cricket, for which it's perfectly placed. The business is run on a coded entry basis, which runs well. The room we had (basement 16) was a lovely clean family set up i.e. very comfortable single and double beds. There was a large TV, tea and coffee and a lovely en-suite shower room. There are two shared kitchens available for use of guests, which we didn't use, so I cannot comment on those. There is ample parking, which should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Overall we were very happy. Thank you :)

Chose this accommodation due to location near Trent Bridge. Ideal and had off road parking. Hosts were good at communicating. Key codes for front door and room key were sent the day before arrival. However why I needed to send a copy of passport or driving license, I do not know and felt uncomfortable sending this information to a stranger( identity theft etc) There is no signage in the property to point the way to the room which made it difficult to find Room was adequate but basic. Hospitality tray in room which was appreciated as opposed to using the kitchen to make a hot drink Room was clean, bathroom cramped. Had to empty bin and take rubbish out. Overpriced for what is offerd

River rooms is situated in West Bridgeford, 200 yards from Trent Bridge. The reception is self service, you get key codes via email on the day before you arrive. The place is clean and the beds are comfortable although our shower was a bit cramped. There is access to a kitchen if you want to make breakfast. We thought that it was a bit pricey but otherwise you could not fault it.

I am not somebody who usually leaves reviews but based on my horrendous experience and now also reading other reviews on here, I would really avoid River Rooms Nottingham at all costs. Long story short, my key learnings: I only stayed for one night, they charged me for two for no reason. Terrible communication, constantly in ‘team meetings’, condescending, unprofessional, misleading check in / out times

5 out 5 location cleanliness. Brilliant location clean warm, everything we needed, would highly recommend to anyone. We were going to the cricket at Trentbridge couldn’t ask for better location. Hotel clean warm and two mins walk from Trentbridge.

Don’t book this place if there’s a chance you may need to cancel even if you do so within the timeframe stated…. you won’t get your deposit back. They don’t respond to emails and even speaking to some women a couple of times who assured me it will be done..it never is. There are lots of nice places in this area, choose one which is run by decent people.
