Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa

I enjoy researching our vacations and I did a lot of research before this trip, assuring me that my family would love the Kimpton. With already high expectations, I was still beyond impressed! The resort is beautiful with so much thought in the layout and design. I imagine I could return a dozen times and continue to notice new details that add to the elegant ambiance. Our oceanfront suite was stunning and perfect for our family of six. Regarding the on-site activities, our kids loved bouncing from the pool, to the ocean, to the water park, and also enjoyed the daily activities, as well as playing ping pong, corn hole and pool in the lobby. As other reviews stated, everyone we encountered was very friendly / helpful and the service is top notch from the minute we arrived. We enjoyed Ave every morning for breakfast and dinner there was also delicious. The lunch options at the pool were very good and the Library by the Sea was so unique and fun. The taxis on the island are great, easy to find and safe, and for dinners offsite we visited Calypso Grill (a favorite) and Luca (would also recommend). This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we already decided we are coming back next year and staying for longer! Thank you to everyone at the Kimpton for making our vacation so special.

After vacationing several years at a great hotel in the USA, our family decided to try a new location. After much research, my daughter selected the Kimpton Seafire Resort. WOW! It was terrific. At arrival we were greeted by an extremely well run front desk operation, friendly and well trained personnel. The hotel room was spotless and housekeeping top notch. The breakfast buffet had a large selection. Without leaving the hotel, there was plenty to do, ocean and pool, water park, fitness center, spa, etc. Decision now made, this will be our family vacation pick for the next several years.

Close to airport, rooms are modern and clean and beautiful. Our room had full kitchen, and tons of room! Beds were very comfortable. We had an ocean view balcony-steps from the on site restaurant (brunch). We rented beach cabanas, which was right on the water, close to restrooms, great service with bell to ring when attendant needed, nice shade. Also close to the beach restaurant. Nets where you swim. If you can, reserve the chefs table!!! It was fabulous! We also did the wine pairing. Chefs were fun to talk to, the food was amazing and unique. Taxis were everywhere, not hard to find one. I have only stayed at the ritz when going to caymans, but I will stay here from now on! Highly highly recommend!!! Easiest vacation EVER!

Outstanding hotel. Spectacular service. Gorgeous decor and great food. Stunning beach. Clean and well kept property with nice natural vegetation and the best staff. Always there but never intrusive. We had a phenomenal time. Spa is absolutely zen and offers fantastic services. Will be back again….hopefully soon.

Amazing property with plenty of space to feel spread out. The pool and beach area were fantastic with very prompt service. Didn’t feel like I was on top of other people, unlike what I saw at other hotels on the beach. Make sure to visit the Bonny Moon Beach Club next door for great food and drinks.

This hotel is the nicest on Grand Cayman. It was fantastic, from the room to the amazing smelling sheets and bathroom amenities to the reasonably priced and delicious pool/beach food with flags to raise when service needed to the included snorkeling equipment to the turndown service! The staff really care that the guests are enjoying themselves. The little touches like water bottles in the car when we left the hotel and offering to take equipment back to the beach building are some of the differences that set this experience apart from other hotels.

From the moment you pull up in the front of the hotel, the superb service begins. We walked in to welcome drinks and quick and easy check in. After a diverted flight all we wanted to do is go to the room, their check in was great! The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept. Rooms are roomy and well accommodating. The housekeeping is awesome, room and towels always freshened. My husband has celiac so we were a little worried we may have issues but NONE at all. Everyone was so knowledgeable about celiac and he ate very freely without having to worry! That itself makes this stay worth it. We ate at Ave and Avecita multiple times and even lunch at the pool with no worries! The food was outstanding. Every employee we encountered was pleasant with a smile on their face. When you go to the pool someone is there to give you a towel and chair towel and they supply aloe and sunblock. There is always cold water with cups on beach and at pool and they give you refillable water bottles. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back! I have to say island was a little more expensive than I thought but it was definitely worth it!!

We stayed at the Kimpton for 5 nights to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. From beginning to end, the excellent service by the staff made this a very special trip. In addition, the food is delicious. The beach is beautiful. And our hotel room was comfortable and clean. Thank you Kimpton staff for helping us celebrate!
