Xbalanque

Such a wonderful place to bring a big family. We went with two other families and the staff accommodating for everything. They were all so kind and attentive. The food and drink selection on the resort was also amazing. Tasteful amenities like quality live music, sound baths, yoga, spa time. I will be bringing my extended family here, for sure!

Our stay at the Xbalanque was absolutely amazing! We visited with our extended family and each stayed in different suites. The suites were perfect for each of our individual families and had beautiful views of the ocean. The location was perfect, walking distance or a short water taxi to both West Bay and West End. We enjoyed visiting both areas but were so happy to return home to the Xbalanque each afternoon to enjoy our own private beach. Sunsets were amazing! The staff, especially Patsy, made us feel right at home. They treated us as if we were family. My kids loved playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. They had kayaks for us to use to take out to the reef for snorkeling. The meals we enjoyed at their restaurant, Lotus, were fabulous! The staff helped us arrange a snorkel tour one day and a catamaran tour another day. They provided information on visiting the Mayan Jungle where you can see monkeys and sloth and zipline. Nothing but great things to say about this place...can't wait to go back:-)

My wife and I were visiting Roatan for a friends and were able to spend the last few days of our vacation at Xbalanque. This resort was in a great location in Turtle Beach, nestled in between the West End and West Bay. We really enjoyed how tranquil and relaxing our stay was. The staff is very friendly, the hospitality was great. Thank you to "Roatan" Randy, Jamie, Chris and Mike. Food at the Lotus was great, lovely Caribbean homestyle food that was delicious. The room was nestled amongst the trees, really pretty and quiet. Slept really well, the AC in the room was fantastic. Would love to try out one of the larger suites on the beach when going back to Roatan as they looked really nice. Overall would recommend this place for any couples or families travelling to Roatan.

We just returned from a week stay at the Xbalanque resort and cannot say enough good things about it. The owner, Patsy, was extremely gracious and very responsive. She answered all of our questions in advance of our stay to ensure we were well prepared for the trip. She offered us ground transportation to/from the airport which gave us great peace of mind. Danny picked us up from the airport and offered us a grocery stop, which was a huge help so that we could have snacks/drinks in our room. Edder gave us our return trip back to the airport and several rides to and from our excursions throughout the week. He was awesome. He was always punctual, reliable, and fun to be around. The front desk stay was great and helped us plan excursions for every day- some of our favorites were the dolphin action swim, zip lining, scuba diving and the fishing/snorkel trip. What I loved most is that the resort was in the perfect spot on the island. No crowds and very private and serene. But there was tons to do if you wanted to do excursions. And almost all of our excursions were private which was extra special. We stayed in the sun room which was extremely spacious. There were two bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room and beautiful outdoor deck with ocean views. We travel a lot and This was one of the best family vacations we have had. Huge thank you to the entire Xbalanque staff for making our stay so enjoyable!!
