Ernüchternd…trotz weniger Gäste wurden wir bei der Reservierung gebeten, eine halbe Stunde eher zu kommen als geplant. Soweit kein Problem, bei Ankunft hat uns dann ein Mitarbeiter in seiner Freizeit ( war mit seiner Familie selbst zum Essen vor Ort) in Empfang genommen und auch bedient, weil sonst niemand zugegen war. Bestellt haben wir dann dreimal das gleiche Gericht und bekamen TK-Rösti, TK-Gemüse ohne alles, nur erwärmt und lieblos gekochtes Zürcher mit zähem Fleisch. Das ganze für je stolze 24,50 Euro. Preis-Leistung leider schlecht. Dafür das in der Umgebung die meisten Restaurants geschlossen hatten, war auch auffällig wenig los. Schade, denn das Restaurant mit der Lage und dem Ambiente hätte besseres verdient.

2 kleine Tassen Kaffee á 4 Euro und 2 kleine Stücke Apfelstrudel á 8,50 Euro (nicht lecker, total harte Kruste, wirkte wie ein aufgetautes TK-Fertigprodukt, dazu eine kleine Kugel Vanilleeis, ein Klecks Sprühsahne, alles für unseren Geschmack unpassend übersät mit bunten Zuckerperlen wie beim Kindergeburtstag), machte 25 Euro. Wir haben nicht schlecht gestaunt. Kuchen war angeblich am Sonntagnachmittag gegen 15 Uhr "alles schon weg", obwohl im Restaurant außer unserem nur noch ein einziger Tisch besetzt war. Für ein derart abgelegenes Restaurant im Bergischen Land echt keine Glanzleistung. Die Kellnerin war allerdings sehr freundlich.
