I booked this hotel temporarily because I changed my itinerary due to self-driving. I was unexpectedly satisfied.
I was most satisfied with the executive lounge. The happy hour buffet was as rich as the Ritz. There were ten hot dishes, eight fried dishes, and four cold dishes of seafood. The wine was also good, catching up with the buffet, and the service was also very good. The breakfast in the lounge was also excellent, with Brie cheese, Spanish ham, and delicious bread. The service staff in the lounge was also very professional, very kind and friendly.
The front desk guy who checked in was also great, and the butler service Kobayashi was also very caring.
The room was upgraded to a river view room for free, with a great view. Although the hardware was old, it was well maintained and the hygiene was also great. There is a city balcony downstairs where you can stroll around.
