Had a lovely meal with the family at the rockingham arms Varied started and mains and great service , pleasant surroundings and waiting staff lovely Booked for Xmas day too so will be a chilled day for us all and my daughter will get a day off cooking Thank you very much for your hospitality ❤️

Booked a table to eat Sunday lunch on 15th September for 4 adults, a 6 year old child and a 22 month old child. From arrival to being served with 1 starter, 2 child meals and 4 adult meals from the main menu took an hour. The pub advertises as family friendly, there was nothing for the children to do. One of the desserts requested was not available, the alternative and the others were a long time arriving. When this was all brought to the attention of the cashier, there was a half hearted apology as if this was an every day occurance. One comment was that some colouring crayons had gone missing during the summer and they had not been replaced. Almost an admission that NO EFFORT HAD BEEN MADE. A very poor experience. The food was excellent, but the time attitude and service left a lot to be desired.

2 night stay with family , rooms were lovely, Food in hotel was great and plentiful, gardens were nice with loads of room for a toddler to run about in . Very friendly staff x extra helpful . The village is beautiful with loads of walks and a stately home to walk round , squirrels running around .

What a lovely experience we have just had at The Rockingham Arms at Wentworth. We hadn't been for some time and really like the changes that have been made to the bar, although we did think the tables are a little close together. Dan the young man behind the bar was excellent and efficient not only with his service towards us but also for the business with upselling, what an asset to the pub. He couldn't do enough for us, one team member to keep we think. Because of his friendliness and service we will definitely be returning

What a lovely Inn in the village of Wentworth only a short distance away from Wentworth Woodhouse - which is definitely worth a visit. I am on crutches and booked the disabled room which has its own entrance, large bed, huge tv and big wet room. Very helpful staff when we needed them. Tasty breakfast.

When for my lunch with an friend and we had an lovely view the young girl that served us was wonderful and positive Attitude and make sure we was looked after you have an amazing team member ( marissa) and it great to manager get involved and Pull in their weight help his team and help staff when it Acquired him to amazing to see an great team ( jordan ) well done to everyone for your hard work keep smiling your all doing amazing 👏 thank you for lovely day and the nice meal.

Two night mid week stay at the Rockingham Arms. a country inn with guest accommodation in separate cottages across the road. Car parking available at the Inn or by the cottages. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the nature of the building meant that they were quite dark. They had recently been refurbished. Mostly helpful and friendly staff in the bar and restaurant areas. Good breakfast and evening meals as expected from a Greene King establishment. Tasty, good portions and value for money, especially with the 20% discount given for booking the accommodation directly via Greene King. The restaurant was busy in the evenings so reservations are advised. Some attention to detail required in the restaurant where the coffee pot and one of our plates were chipped.

Hotel has been recently refurbished and you can tell. Modern comfortable rooms, plenty of space. Only stayed for one.l night as a family and the kids loved it. 24/7 contact details should you have any issues. Breakfast was great and very reasonable.

We stayed in the hotel. The newly refurbished room was spotless, warm & cosy. The bed was super comfy we slept really well. All the staff in the bar & restaurant were really friendly. We couldn’t fault our stay. We ate in the restaurant and had a wonderful meal, again nothing to fault only to praise. We would definitely recommend the Rockingham Arms & stay again when we are visiting family & friends
