A great find! This is a delightful hotel in Wem. The rooms are spacious with excellent facilities and the whole area is quiet and well kept. Comfortable rooms and beds with a large bath in ours. Peaceful too despite many staying at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, all perfectly cooked to order and arriving on time. As it was Fathers' Day, there were special items on the menu inclding Eggs Benedict and Royale which was alovely touch. The hotel is set in grounds peaceful grounds on the edge of Wem with delightful gardens to wandr around. The staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Noe that they do light meals in the evenings such as sandwiches or soup and other snacks, however the hotel makes this clear when booking and if you need largers meals they can be taken locally. Highly recommended

The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly with such "can do" attitude, we all loved it. Rooms very clean and comfortable, (room 5 is a good one with a 4 poster bed). We had a buffet lunch, chosen from their menu. There was plenty of it, freshly put together and served beautifully. The bar was well stocked (loved the Shropshire Gold beer) and there are plenty of rooms to sit, chat and drink in. We had a 90th Birthday party with very young children and it was a very safe and child friendly hotel. The gardens were lovely and thankfully the sun was out so we spent most of the day outside. The bed was welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast the next day was good value and delicious. The energy of one member of staff was incredible having dealt with us all weekend, thank you very much. But to add, ALL the staff who worked that weekend were brilliant. Thank you for making our mums birthday successful and one to remember.

Beautiful gardens and on the edge of Wem, this was a great place to stay overnight. The building is stunning and has lots of quiet rooms to sit and have a drink/read. Plenty of places yo eat in Wem, and less than a 10 minute stroll yo the centre. Our room was a little 'tired' but was clean and had everything you needed. The small bar is well stocked, reasonably priced, and cosy. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was all cooked fresh, so it was hot and delicious. Would I stay again, absolutely

Lovely stay
Was a lovely stay for a friends wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. The customer service was 10/10 so friendly and hospitable. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Breakfast was lovely and freshly made
