Elmwood Resort Hotel

So very happy with our choice! The room was perfect for 4 of us - love having a kitchen. The rooms were quiet - couldn’t hear our neighbors so hopefully they couldn’t hear us! Love the Adirondack’s in front of each room - sat outside reading a few times. The outdoor pool was a little smaller than I thought but very enjoyable. Perfect area - close to lots of food places, the beach, activities! Really appreciated the games onsite too, the fire “pits”! Great time - definitely recommend and would stay again

For a budget condo, the accommodations were fine. Some of the dishes/utensils needed to be washed by hand. It’s not the most updated interior design, but - for the price - it was perfectly fine. When we arrived, our check-in was delayed by half an hour because maintenance was installing a new ceiling fan. After traveling for a few hours, this was slightly annoying. However, the reason I am rating it a 2 is: • After spending a day at the beach, we arrived back at the unit and someone had clearly entered the unit and opened the electric box and left a screwdriver on a living room chair. •When I spoke to the manager, he argued with me for 10 minutes about this issue. He said the maintenance worker told us he would be back the next day. He did not! The manager did not offer any courtesy or apology. He told me this was the “hotel industry” - even though I have stayed all over the world and have never had this issue occur before. Furthermore, the manager expressed that it was our fault for the maintenance worker coming when we were not present because there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Subsequently, we looked everywhere and found no such sign. I would not stay here again. I don’t feel I could trust this management and maintenance. All of our belongings were strewn, and this hotel management allows people to just come into your unit without warning. I don’t recommend this hotel, as it was not a safe or trustworthy experience.

Everything fine other than no housekeeping. Seems they have jumped on the bandwagon of eliminating daily room cleaning. In fact none at all until the guest checks out, obviously. Room was very clean, well-equipped, plentiful towels and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful . Comfortable bed, too......not too hard. We were very happy with our stay. Having been there several times in the past, we really appreciate the no pets policy. For that reason alone, we will be regular customers!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Plus the entire staff is polite and first-rate. We've been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. Take advantage of the pay for two/stay for three night offer. Special packages allow for discounts at several FINE restaurants. We're planning on visiting again early spring.

This was our first visit to Maine and picked this location. It was clean and comfortable with a lot of room to spread out. It is centrally located and set back from the main road. Though we didn't use the swimming pool we did use the laundry room. The front office gal was accommodating when the laundry soap didn't come out of the machine. If you like donuts, Dunking donuts is across the street for your dining pleasure

We just got back from our 1 week stay, my daughter, son in law and 3 young kids, at the Elmwood Resort Hotel. It was amazing. It was my daughter third stay. What stood out and I have never seen before (even though I have been to numerous resorts and on cruises) were the unlimited towels, dish towels, etc. The rooms are very clean and so are the premises well maintained. The people who work at the Resort are very nice. The swimming pool is heated and the area is safe for the children. There is also an indoor pool. Location is great to go to the beach, grocery, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend staying there without hesitation and we will be back!

Really nice hotel. Great location…central spot between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Many nice restaurants close as well grocery store. Rooms clean. Pool very nice. Well maintained overall. No complaints whatsoever. Short but memorable trip. We will definitely come back.

Large rooms like apartments, everything was clean. Kitchen has almost everything you need but bring your own sponge and paper towels. They will change out bath towels and linen at your request (we didn't bother for 4 nights). The temperature control system works well. Shower water was hot with good pressure. The rooms were very quiet even though the hotel was full. Two major grocery stores (Hannaford and IGA) are within half mile. Litchfield Bar and Grill is a good dinner spot and not very expensive. Good close beaches are Kennebunk and Wells Beaches. Also visit the charming town of Kennebunkport.

Our suite was impeccably clean. The kitchen well outfitted. Location was perfect and close to good dining and the beaches. Staff are very helpful and efficient. Thank you Scott for making our stay so wonderful with Riley. We will definitely be back!
