a bit dated
an ok place to stay but definitely dated. not updated for todays electronics. coffee available 24 hrs but only if water and pods are available to put in the kuerig. too cold to use the pool but looked ok.

quaint and basic motel
Older motel and overall it was maintained ok and clean. Curtains, towels, shower curtain need to be replaced. Nice pool. Quiet at night. Convenient location.

Great pool but . . .
There was a terrific pool and the check-in was fine. The room smelled like a bottle of Pine Sol or Lysol had been dumped to clean it. It was so strong it made my eyes burn. It took a bit to air the place out. It was also a very hot day and the small air conditioner did not do much to cool the room down even throughout the night.

Kitschy little roadside motel
The place was cute, not quite as comfy as I’d hoped, but we made it comfortable for the week. The customer service was subpar - I had to request help several times for each incident. Other than our neighbors fighting one night and someone randomly knocking on our door one day by accident, it was quiet and private. There were some bugs, as expected, but it wasn’t filthy.

Fine
Overall, it was fine. The room was nothing special, the bed was lacking pillows and blankets. Nothing was well done, but it did have a TV, mini fridge, and microwave so that was nice. There are multiple permanent residents and they leave enormous messes. Every public garbage can full, and heaps of beer, soda, coffees, etc on their front porches. The office where you check in was also a mess. The dumpster next to the office was empty, but had piles of garbage and litter around it. It was alarming how much garbage was lying around. Other than the garbage, it was a "get what you pay for" place. Nothing great, just a place to sleep. I would just bring my own pillows and blankets next time lol.

A Step Back in Time
What an adorable vintage motel! I truly felt like we had stepped back in time; to maybe 1967. Our check-in process was quick and easy. The lady who assisted us was very friendly as she handed us an actual key! We walked past a white picket fenced pool to our room. As we entered our wood-paneled room, the bedspread reminded me of my grandmother’s home. We folded back the spread to reveal a fuzzy green blanket, another relic from my childhood. Upon further exploration, we discovered baseboard heating and an AC wall unit. What a surprise to learn the the king-sized bed was the most comfortable place we’ve slept all week. The cleanliness was a 10, not a speck of dust anywhere! And for food, there is a lovely diner just a few steps away.

Will stay somewhere else in the future.
The check-in clerk was very friendly. However, my room had a lot left to be desired. The tv didn’t work, the curtains were falling off of their broken rod, I had no phone in my room, the wifi didn’t work, and I had ants in my room.

Could have been worse… maybe.
A large group of us rented a few rooms, the other 3 rooms that our friends had were decent, ours was at the end of the building next to the maintenance guy who obviously lives there. The paint was peeling off the wall, the bed was really low to the floor and terribly uncomfortable. The refrigerator freezer was iced over so you couldn’t put anything in it. Towels were dingy, pillows were thin, room smelled like chemicals, 90+ degree day and the AC had not been turned on so it was stuffy and hot in the room upon check in. They never gave us the Wifi code and the woman who checked us in was rude and unaccommodating.
