Wellington Pipitea Hotels

Hotel is pretty old, needs renovation. I was living in separate room with own bathroom. But still everything old , smell old, mattress is very soft( Strange carpets everywhere, even on evevator walls))) But location is great, just few minutes from Railway station and Intercity buses stop. Center also just in five minutes walking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish the hotel to be renovated.

The staff were friendly and the accommodation was good. However, there was not much parking space, so I parked on the street. Also, there were not many amenities around the accommodation and it was a bit far from the city center, which was disappointing.

I wanted to stay somewhere close to public transport. The main train station is just a stone’s throw away. It is near the end of Lambton Quay- the main drag in Wellington. Also for my friends who live in the outer suburbs of Wellington this hotel is close to the freeway and an easy access to collect me. The room is really clean and spacious and there is a kitchenette with stove and microwave to heat up/cook food. The bathroom is huge and has an accessible shower which is quite impressive.

Cost-effective service is very good, mainly value convenient parking, taxi to the city is also very cheap and convenient

Before booking, I didn't know that Jay Chou had taken photos downstairs of the hotel. I just read the reviews saying that the location, environment and service were good. This hotel has the style of a hotel and all the conveniences of a family hotel, including cooking, washing, drying and ironing. I left in a hurry and brought a mobile phone charger. The service staff lent it to me until I left. I will lock in this hotel when I go to Wellington next time. It's great value

The location is great, less than a 15-minute walk from the train station. If you're coming from the airport, take the Airport Express. After getting off, walk a short distance, then turn into an alleyway by a bronze statue of a dog walker. Head up a few stairs, go through a sliding door on your right, and take the elevator up to the 7th floor for the lobby. A word of caution: definitely avoid trying to enter through the parking lot stairs; it's a very long and confusing detour. Rooms are compact but well-heated. Each room comes with a microwave, dishes, and an electric fan. A $50 deposit is required. Good value for money, definitely recommended!

The hotel does not provide breakfast, but the location of the hotel is very convenient. There is a supermarket within 10 minutes' walk. The train station, long-distance bus (with the train station) station, and the ferry terminal can be walked. It's downhill from Wellington's busiest commercial street, three minutes away. During the day, you can take the elevator down from the office building to the commercial street, and at night you can go down the steps. The hotel has parking. We booked a double bed room, the bed was big enough, and two people sleep very well. If you have children, you can book a twin room, that is, a large bed and a normal single bed. The hotel is also very convenient to the airport, and it takes 20 minutes by taxi. The hotel is very clean, and the washing machine, induction cooker, microwave oven, oven, cooker hood, as well as pots and plates, knives and forks are very complete, making cooking very convenient. In a word, I like it and I'm satisfied. If I go to Wellington, I will definitely stay in the hotel again.

The location of the room is very good. It's on the main street, with shops and restaurants nearby. It's not far from the parliament building, so it's very convenient to go everywhere. It's quite quiet at night. We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel before 11 o'clock. They actually let us check in early. Thank you very much! You can rest and relieve the fatigue of getting up early, and have more energy to play. Next to it is the mountain cable car station, and it is also very convenient to go to the National Museum.

Overall is great, but still feel the whole hotel a little old, and one point: we asked the receptionist for shaver and toothbrush, he said all in the room, but actually there’s nothing. We need to phone service team for several times ( we only asked one thing first cause we believed there are everything except that one, then we found others were not there……), really inconvenient. The food is great, and the guy there is very friendly!

Had a great visit to Wellington. Enjoyed the hotel and the service was excellent. As with most Hotels we have stayed at recently they are a bit dated. Room was very clean, room service was good and the bathroom was excellent and looked to have been renovated in recent years. All in all very happy with our stay.
