Very nice boutique hotel. Clean rooms. Quaint motel with parking right outside the room which is convenient. The windows would not stay shut - I had to put an elastic around them to stay closed. Doors to room are very finicky. Walking distance to restaurants. Staff were nice. Pool was very nice. There are a lot of rules but they did not bother us. Drinks and food are very pricey and they charge a minimum 20% tip for only two people - so $8 for the delivery of one drink each. Overall really nice vibe and beautiful view with the water.

This motel was perfect as a base for day-tripping around Prince Edward County. The town of Wellington was within walking distance. Their deck was amazing for drinks and dinner, and the pool was well maintained. There were also cabanas available to rent.

Overall, I thought the property was very lovely and finished very nicely. The patio at the back overlooking the water is beautiful. One issue with the hotel is that they have a speaker on the outside of the office building that plays loud music all day until 9pm. I understand that it is the same music that is around the pool but it is disruptive to the rooms that are close to the office. The other issue is that it is very dark in the bathroom, it could use a bit more lighting.

The Host Brusb was very personable. Very clean rooms. Great restaurants and location on the Lake. Close to bike trail. Did have to drive a fair bit to get to Provincial parks.
