Our room was very good. Recently refurbished. Small carpark. Staff were all helpful and welcoming. Evening meals poor.

Uncomfortable bed
Mattress was sprung and totally worn out. Not comfortable at all. Hotel needs refreshing all over, carpets and decor. Staff are friendly and helpful and in the middle of the town.

My Family booked 6 rooms and had very nice rooms, We also booked the restaurant for 24. Probably delivered 8 different starters 10 different mains and 8 different puddings. All were excellent but more importantly they all came hot and tasty. I could not fault the waiting staff and bar staff, so patients (remember 24 meals to the right person's) They were friendly helpful, all with a smile. My family were so impressed they want to book for next year. I must thank Carly who sorted it all out, the room, the decorations Thank you from all our family Camilla Paul Perkins

I truly enjoyed my stay here! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made me feel welcome right from the start. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable that getting up in the morning was a real challenge — I finally got the proper rest I’d been needing for a long time.
Yes, some of the facilities are a little dated, but honestly, that only adds to the hotel’s charm. It has a lovely historical feel that gives it real character.
If I could change one thing, it might be the dining room — a little update wouldn’t hurt. But overall, I’m really happy with my stay, especially considering the hotel is located right in the heart of Wellingborough.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
