Without a Chinese driver's license, I could only take a bus from Shangri-La to Tacheng (later I discovered that there are also ride-hailing services). When I arrived at the station, I couldn't get a taxi, so I bothered the boss to pick me up and take me to the B&B, which also opened up this opportunity. A warm stay experience. I originally planned to stay only one night and then leave after watching the Golden Monkey the next morning, but because I overslept for two consecutive days (the bed must have been so sleepy, the landlady couldn’t wake me up even if she knocked on the door 😭), I accidentally stayed here for four days. I laughed for three days and nights, and received a lot of care, and because of this, I was able to discover this friendly and beautiful town and its people even more. Participating in making and enjoying delicious meals, going to the farmhouse to feed the chickens, visiting relatives’ homes nearby to eat, and being surrounded by friendly friends.
